A fairly quick valentine for my husband... I used the Block Letter Alphabet dies from Art Impressions, cut from some old Basic Grey papers that are favourites of mine! Then added a Photoplay Say it With Stamps die, triple stacked with black cardstock for a little dimension, and added a few heart. Happy Valentine's Day!

Masculine Birthday
It's my husband's birthday! I put together a card using a couple of foliage stamp sets from Pigment Craft Co., arranging them in a sprig on some old Photoplay plaid paper (intended for Christmas, but I think it works fine for a winter birthday). The sentiment is from the Serenade Sentiments die set from Spellbinders - which I am so happy with! It's my first time using them, but won't be the last. I love using old & new product together.

Say it With Stamps
I've loved the Say it with Stamps line from Photoplay ever since it came out. I made a couple of cards that match one I made a little while ago, and will be giving them as a gift soon. Here is the "You" stamp and die set combined with Goldenrod paper from One Canoe Two:
Here's the card that I made it to match - using "Party" stamps and dies:Monday, June 27, 2022
Reason to Party
I've had these wonderful One Canoe Two papers for several years, and have wanted to get using them more! I've paired them with dies/sentiments from Photoplay's Say it With Stamps line and a fun Taylored Expressions glasses die.

Happy Pride!
Wishing a very Happy Pride to all those who are celebrating today. I love that rainbow cards are such a popular trend right now. Thanks to Gina K for her wonderful partial stencil/ink blending idea! I may make a few more of these:

Balloon Animals
I'm ashamed to say that I've had this cute Balloon Animal stamp set for years - and have only just pulled it out now! But I've always loved the images, and they stamped beautifully in Distress Oxide inks - I used a couple of colours on each one to give them a little added dimension. I stamped and cut out a whole bunch, and pulled out some (even older!) papers - then made up a couple of cards. The sentiment and die are from Photoplay.

Crazy Birds Slimline
This stamp set never gets old!! I needed a masculine birthday card, had this background ready to go, and thought of the Tim Holtz Crazy Birds stamp set from a few years ago (five? eight?). Those fun little birds look great coloured rainbow style, so I pulled out my Copics and got to work:
I stamped off a whole bunch of the Crazy Birds while I had them out... so you'll be seeing a few more from me this summer.

A Reason to Party
Trying to kickstart my absent mojo today! And a little ink blending usually does the trick. A fun slimline card is the result:
I used the Floral Swirl stencil from Creative Expressions, with Distress Oxide inks in: Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Broken China and cut it out with my Diagonal Slimline die from Pinkfresh Studio.
From the newest Say It With Stamps collection from Photoplay, I've used their Party die & stamp set. I layered the die cut twice to make it a little sturdier before adhering it to my panel with Sticky Specks, and added a few black Nuvo Drops. I've been wanting to do a few rainbow cards to celebrate Pride Month, so I'm happy to have my first one to share!

You Are My Favourite Human
So many great sentiments in the 'You' Say it with Stamps set from Photoplay. And I love that you can get the matching word die. My background is from a recent ink blending day that I had, playing with my Pinkfresh Studio slimline stencils (this one is Diamond Plaid done in Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink).
I did some ink blending on white cardstock, then stamped my flower overtop in Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Then LOTS of fussy cutting... Colours are Spun Sugar/Kitsch Flamingo; Shaded Lilac/Wilted Violet; Scattered Straw/Wild Honey.Saturday, March 20, 2021
Second Coffee Lover's post
I have a second card to post in the 2021 Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop today. I've been inspired by patterned papers lately, so here's my card using Flower Market by Carta Bella:
Dies are Leafy Branch from Pinkfresh Studio, Cups of Cheer from Memory Box, and Say it With Stamps from Photoplay. You can see the rest of the hop here!

Beautiful Slimline
You're in for a whole bunch of slimline cards from me over the next while! I had a fun afternoon playing with my new Pinkfresh Studio products, and will be gradually making them up into cards over the next while.
I ink blended some Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink onto my cardstock, and then used the Diamond Motif stencil to add a little more Faded Jeans over it all. I die cut the panel out with a dotted slimline die from Photoplay, and used a smaller shaped one to cut out the middle of the panel, which I raised up with 3D adhesive. The Beautiful Word Die was cut in metallic silver cardstock, and the Leafy Branch Die was cut from white. I used my Sticky Specs to glue them down and added a few tiny sparkles to finish it off.

Photoplay Masculine cards
I've pulled out my Photoplay Say it with Stamps set again... this time to make a few masculine cards. This is the best set of products I've owned (ever?) to make masculine cards - all I have to do is pick the right papers, choose one of many sentiments, and it comes together really quickly:
Every guy I've given a card to that says "You are a bad ass" has smiled. It's a win!Monday, January 18, 2021
Say it With Stamps
I love the Say it With Stamps line from Photoplay! They are word die sets that come with a matching stamp set of the same word image, along with coordinating phrases. I played with them this fall for the Demo Days at the Papercrafter's Workshop, and had a few extras that I made up into 11 more cards for next year:
Each of the word dies comes with a matching 'mat' to frame each word beautifully. The Joy & Peace are in one set, and the Merry & Christmas are in another. Each stamp set has the same word image, along with dozens of phrases to accompany the words. I also have the set of tiny strip dies that come in different lengths to die cut out any phrase you create.
I used the Jingle All the Way papers from Simple Stories, and added a few berries, pine boughs and pinecones, with a few twine bows. If you look closely you'll see the spatters of white paint that I added to each of my cards.
The Photoplay and Simple Stories products can be found at the Papercrafter's Workshop!

Holly Collage card
Here is my last card made with the Photoplay holly/berries stencils!
I wanted to try using just a portion of the stencil on my card, so I concentrated on one corner, allowing the inks to fade out around the edges. (Inks are Mowed Lawn and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides). I die cut my panel with this wonderful die from The Greetery, and then created my collage with a cluster of pine and berry diecuts. I used a little Crushed olive ink to shade a portion of my tag, and added the "merry" die from Photoplay's Say it With Stamps line, cut in the wonderful No Shed Glitter Paper in a lovely rich red.I used the same melon-y pink shade of cardstock for my base, and now have another Christmas card in my stash! You can find the Photoplay products at the Crafter's Workshop.

Holly card
I recently got to play with Photoplay's two-step stencils for Demo Days at the Papercrafter's Workshop... and I loved them so much, that I got a set for myself (I have the snowflakes, too - but haven't busted them out yet). Here's what I put together:
The stencils were so easy to line up - I started with the holly, blending Distress Oxide ink in Speckled Egg, then a little Peacock Feathers into the edges, and finally a little Faded Jeans overtop to tone it down a little. For the berries I used Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick and a little Aged Mahogany.

Photoplay Say it With Stamps
For my recent Demo Days presentation at the Crafter's Workshop, I used several of the Say it With Stamps sets from Photoplay. Here are a couple of cards using the Peace/Joy set:
Even though it's intended as a holiday set, I wanted to show that it could be used for "more". I blended Wild Honey, Picked Raspberry and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks on white cardstock, then die cut the mat background piece from it. I layered Peace cut in black on top, and adhered it to my card base with foam adhesive. And here is a more typical Christmas card, with the words cut from some gold metallic cardstock, and layered on mats cut from the same kraft paper as the card base. The phrases are stamped from the coordinating stampset that includes the ampersand. Lawn Fawn's Sparkle paper is shining from behind.
All products can be found at the Crafter's Workshop!
