Using up the old stuff!

With the CTMH Fall/Winter catalogue debuting August 1st...  I decided to use up a bit of older product while I anxiously await my shipment of brand new goodies :o)  This was a friend request, that I wanted to do in a soft & pretty colour combo:
Patterned papers are Life Delights and Wings; Cardstock is Chocolate, Lilac Mist & Colonial White; Stamp sets are Gracious Greetings and The Works alphabet; Ink is Blush; Opaque pearls - all CTMH; Spellbinder's Die.

Mojo Monday #200 & Heart2Heart Challenges

Congrats to Julee & the Verve team on their 200th Mojo Monday sketch!  And it's a lovely one:
I needed to make a 25th Anniversary card for my sister & brother-in-law... and this week's Heart2Heart Challenge just happened to be "doilies & lace" which fit the bill.  This card is quite shimmery in person, because the background cardstock is silver, and I silver embossed the doily image, so I've taken a second picture to try to show the 'glimmer':

Silver cardstock - unknown, all other supplies are CTMH: Patterned papers are Bliss; Cardstock is Grey Mist & White Daisy; Stamp sets are Simple Memories & promo Alphabet; Ink is Versamark & Grey Flannel; White Organdy Ribbon; Sparkles.

Patterned papers are Curio, by Basic Grey; Stamp set is Beautiful You by Verve; Baker's Twine from The Twinery; Ink is Chocolate; Cardstock is Chocolate, Sunset & Colonial White - by CTMH.

Inspiration at Heart2Heart

Well, this is a big day for me!  I'm back as a player this week on the Heart2Heart Challenges blog, and happy to be here :o)  We were given this photo as inspiration, and asked to come up with a project based on it, so I took the colours & flowers, and pulled out our Sophia papers (perfect for this!) to make a 60th birthday card that a friend requested:

Patterned papers are Sophia; Cardstock is Hollyhock, Pear & White Daisy; Inks are Blush & Hollyhock; Stamp sets are Happy Birthday & Precious Alphabet; Bitty Sparkles - all CTMH; Marvy punches; Baker's Twine from The Twinery; Spellbinders Die.

A Sympathy card

A girlfriend needed a couple of these last week, and I must say that they're certainly easier to make when you're not the one sending them.  With that in mind, I intend to make a few more for my stash, so that when they're needed, I have them.
Patterned papers are Curio, by Basic Grey; Cardstock is Cocoa, Olive, Blush & Colonial White; Ink is Cocoa & Desert Sand; Stamp sets are Butterfly Kiss & The Gift of Love; Colonial White organdy ribbon - all CTMH; Nestabilities Die.
