It's our 28th Anniversary today! I made a card for my husband, using some One Canoe Two paper, and some Tim Holtz mini Blueprint images. I really love how the rose gold metallic paper looks with the muddy blue of the background papers.
Anyone else miss the Blueprints?? I will continue to use them as often as I can!

A Collaboration
Sharing a few quick cards that I put together this weekend. My daughter painted these Tim Holtz Blueprint images earlier in the pandemic, so I pulled them out and decided to make them up into some fun cards using some papers that I've had kicking around for awhile:
Patterned papers are Chloe's Closet from Making Memories... and I decided to use eyelets on them! Haven't used them in years, but I have all kinds on my craft stash. All of the paints have a lovely metallic shimmer to them, which contrasts nicely with the muted background papers.

Anything is Possible with Coffee
I was able to put together a second card for the 2020 Spring & Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop, and wanted to do a slimline card:
Using all product that's been around awhile... Cream & Sugar Doodlebug Designs paper, Verve sentiment & die, and Tim Holtz Blueprint Sketches from Stamper's Anonymous.
The white circle & squares are all adhered with 3D adhesive tape to raise them up a little.

Many thanks to Amy Tsurata for putting together a fun week as always!

Blueprint Cocktails
I felt like creating something bright and happy today, so I pulled out a new (to me!) set by Tim Holtz: Blueprint Cocktails by Stamper's Anonymous, and made a couple of quick cards:
I love all of Tim's Blueprint style images, and this is the only set where I own them in the larger size. I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black on Cryogen cardstock, which has a lovely shimmer to it.
After colouring with my Copics, I matted them on bright Doodlebug Designs cardstock and onto my fun background paper. I added some Wink of Stella in a few spots to add a little sparkle.

Freshly Made Sketches & Tim Holtz
I'm using some of the Tim Holtz Mini Blueprints today to make some birthday cards for my daughter's friends. I had this cute "Patio Party" paper by Jen Hadfield, and used the Freshly Made Sketches sketch to kick start my design:
Patterned paper is Patio Party by Jen Hadfield and Sunkissed by Doodlebug Design; Stamps are Tim Holtz Mini Cocktail Blueprints; Sentiments are My Favourite Things; Enamel dots are CTMH; Copic Markers.

Sip, Sip Hooray!
I just adore this sentiment from My Favorite Things! You've seen my wine themed/ink blended cards on my blog a few weeks ago, but I have a new colourway using Distress Oxide Inks that I quite love:
Inks are Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry & Seedless Preserves Distress Oxides; Tim Holtz Mini Wine Blueprints stamp, Sentiment is My Favorite Things; Spellbinders Hemstitched Rectangle Die.

Tim Holtz & Photoplay for Father's Day
I have a couple of manly cards to share with you today... I own these stamps in the miniature versions, but my niece has them in the lovely large size, so I stamped a couple of them when we were crafting together last week:
Stamps are Tim Holtz Beer Blueprints & Happy Thoughts by Verve; Cardstock is Chocolate & White Daisy; Your Next Stamp Gumdrops; Patterned paper is Oh Canada! by Photoplay.

Beer Blueprints Cards
If you scroll back a few posts, you'll see my efforts using the Tim Holtz Wine Blueprint Minis... and today I'm doing the Beer Minis version. I again pulled out some Distress Oxide inks for the backgrounds, using Twisted Citron, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon & Blueprint Sketch. The edging dies are the Spellbinder's Hemstitched Rectangles:
I pulled out Happy Thoughts from Verve & an old CTMH font "Precious Alphabet" to add some sentiments. I love having a few guy cards in my stash!

Wine cards
I had a little time to play with some new things this week - Tim Holtz Blueprint mini stamps: Wine, and a new-to-me My Favorite Things stamp set called "Uncorked" (a whole bunch of fun wine themed sentiments). I also played around with my Oxide Distress inks, doing an ombre blend of Candied Apple, Abandoned Coral, Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade & Wild Honey:
I experimented a little with water spatters, and some gold paint spatters...
And I am in love with these "Hemstitch Rectangle" dies from Spellbinders! I love the effect.
Next up will be the Tim Holtz Beer Blueprint minis, so stay tuned :o)
