Window Deco Die

I am sharing a card using a Windows to the World stamp from Art Impressions called Day Spent Window (Sku #4584) paired up with the brand new Window Deco Die (Sku #4749):
The Window Deco Die set actually comes with four dies, and two stamps, and I am just using the curtain and valance stamps on my card today.  I stamped them both on some patterned paper, and used some pencil crayons to add a bit of shading to the folds of the fabric.  I used the Window Die (Sku #4619) to die cut the window panes so that you can peek through to the stamp on the inside of the card.
The sentiment is a favourite of mine, from the Garden TF Set (Sku #4203).  Here is what the inside looks like:
Copics used - B28, B24, B23, B21, G46, G43, G41, YG07, YG05, YG03, YG01, R35, R32, R30, E57, E55, E53, W5, W3, W1, W00

New Ai Cottage & Die Set

You're going to love this sweet new stamp & matching die set from Art Impressions!  It's called Cottage & Die Set (Sku #4746):
The cottage stamp comes with just an open blank area where both the window and door are, so before I started to colour the image, I used the tiny door and window dies that were included in the set.  The die cuts out the window panes, and makes it so that the shutters and door both open - and you can see in to the stamped image on the inside of the card.

Here is the inside of the card - this is Talk Much Set (Sku #4745), and it includes the image and the sentiment separately.  There are four different "inside" stamp sets that work with the Cottage set, but don't you think that this would make a great card all on it's own?

Head on over to the Ai blog to see what the rest of the Design Team are sharing today - and while you're there, you can link up your own project to our current challenge, which is "House and Home".  Happy stamping!

Copics used: Greys - W5, W3, W1, W00
Blues - B95, B93, B91
Reds - E18, E07, E04, E02
Yellows - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11
Browns - E53, E51, E50

Halloween cards

I'm in a Halloween mood right now - so I'm going to share a couple of Halloween cards with you.  There are brand new Try-fold and Windows to the World sets available now on the Art Impressions website, so today I'm sharing Eerie Cheery Window (Sku #M4690):
I started by gluing an orange circle die cut onto the front of my card, and then used the Window Die (Sku #4619) to cut my opening.  Once the opening was there, I positioned my image underneath it and glued it down to the inside of my card.  It's a little clearer to see the card when I hold it shut:
This card was definitely inspired by my teammate Diane - she did the cutest pumpkin shaped card with this stamp & die - you can see her card here!

My second card is the brand new Haunted House TF (Sku #4688):
These images were so awesome to colour!  And all three of them would work just fine on their own, on a card.  Here's the inside - the haunted house is my favourite:
 Copics used: Greys - W7, W5, W3, W1, W00
Oranges - YR18, YR16, YR15, YR12, YR00
Greens - YG07, YG05, YG03, YG01
Purples - BV08, BV04, BV02, BV01, BV00, BV000
Browns - E57, E55, E53, E51, E50
Blues - B28, B26, B24, B23, B21
Yellows - Y38, Y35, Y32

New Art Impressions

I have a couple of wonderful new Christmas stamps to share today from the Art Impressions Fall 2015 collection - brand new Windows to the World and Try-fold sets are now available on the Art Impressions website.  The Design Team is showing off all of the new stamps today on the Ai blog - so be sure to head over and check them all out.  My first card is Savior Window (Sku #M4689):
I've used the Window Die (Sku #4619), and mounted it over a 2" square opening, which allows you to see inside to the sweet holiday scene:

These are such quick little scenes to colour up, and the die makes assembly pretty easy.  And now for my Try-fold card & tag that I made using Christmas Scene TF (Sku #4687):
I made a little belly band to hold it shut:

The snowman image is the perfect size & design to use on a tag:
We have a fun challenge happening on the Art Impressions blog: "Cut Your Cards" - we want to see your creations with windows, openings or fancy cuts (both the Try-folds and Windows to the World stamps are perfect for this one!)  You can link up your creation over on the Ai blog.

This week, the Art Impressions Design team is hopping with Chameleon Pens and Perfect Paper Crafting!  From June 15th-21st we will host a mini blog hop each day between the three company blogs to showcase our products.

Today I am sharing three cards made with the Boy & Girl Mini Set (Sku #4403):
I love how their little faces peek through the open window (I'm using Art Impressions Window Die Sku #4619).  The inside of my card shows the off Chameleon pens, and the wonderful gradiation of colour you can achieve with them:
I am using the 5 Pen Cool Tones set of Chameleon markers - and these are absolutely amazing!  Each pen comes with it's own infusing chamber that allows you to control the amount of colour in your pen.  To see videos of these pens in action - head on over to the Chameleon website.  Here are the gorgeous Cool Tones:
I made two additional cards using just the boy, and just the girl:
I used two new products from Perfect Paper Crafting on today's projects - the Perfect Little Cutting Mat, and the Perfect Layers Mini Border Tool Set.

These were SO helpful on this particular card - the border tools come with 8 different measurements.  I simply glued my striped paper onto a piece of black cardstock, and selected the 1/16" tool, placed it up against the striped paper, and when I used my exacto knife - it cut a perfect 1/16" mat around my paper!  These make perfect mat cutting a breeze... and the cutting mat has measurements around the rim, and a grid that I used to cut the perfect 2" squares with my exacto, that I needed for the window openings below:
Your next stop today is the Chameleon blog - keep hopping to see what everyone has to share today!  And don't forget to enter our giveaway below.
