Elf Cards

I have been enjoying pulling out my Copic markers over the last few weeks, have been colouring up images that I've had stamped for several years, and am making an effort to use up papers that I've had for just as long.
These are two images from High Hopes Rubber Stamps, and a sentiment from Verve.
Paper is Elf Magic by Bo Bunny
 Two more for my stash!

Sugar Pea Designs Mix It Up Challenge - Feb.

I am happy to say that I've finished up my family valentines ahead of time.  No scrambling at the last minute... yay!  I used Laurel's Sketchy Saturday sketch, along with the colours & theme from the February Mix It Up Challenge on the Sugar Pea Designs blog.  Here's what I'm giving my husband:
Those are actually shiny silver stripes... you can see them a bit better in this photo:
I'm feeling a little rusty with my colouring, so it was great to pull out my Copics and get down to business.  Here was our inspiration:
Stamp set is Better Together by Sugar Pea Designs; Patterned paper is Head Over Heels Collection by Bo Bunny; Copic Markers; Silver Adhesive tape, Close To My Heart.

Celeste

I haven't coloured up Celeste from Art Impressions in a little while, and I came across this image already stamped and waiting for me, so I got down to business and coloured her up.  Here is Celeste Set (Sku #4326):
She's priceless.  I adore everything about her - the clothes, the jewelry, and the diva vibe.  I coloured her with Copic markers, and added a little zigzag stitching with my sewing machine.
Happy stamping!

Par Tee Golfers - the female version

A few months back, I shared some fun Art Impressions golf cards using the male image in a golf cart from Par-Tee Golfers Set (Sku #4902), so today I am featuring the female golfer included in the set:
She has a bit of a "live-wire" expression on her face, so I paired her with the "Let's Par Tee" sentiment included in the set (there are five different sentiments to choose from).  On my first card I paper pieced her top, and used the same paper to die cut some clouds.
If you're like me, and have whole bunch of golfers in your family... you may want to pick up this stamp set asap.

The cards are both 5 1/2" square, and are using sentiments from FDMD set (Sku #4454) - this is a great little set to have on hand, that has 3 sentiments each for Father's Day and Mother's Day.

There are all kinds of wonderful masculine images in the Ai store - you're sure to find the perfect one.

The Challenge #74

When I saw this week's inspiration photo at The Challenge... it was too good to be true.  I just happened to have this fun guy image stamped and sitting on my craft desk.  So I quickly coloured him up, and put together a card.  I was tempted to do the tractor red like the photo, but all ride'em mowers are green, aren't they??  I added a few red accents, though:

Patterned papers are Souvenir Collection by Bo Bunny; Cardstock is Cranberry, Outdoor Denim & White Daisy all CTMH; Stamps are Lawn Ranger & FDMD set by Art Impressions; Inks are Tuxedo Black, Memento & Onyx Black by Versafine; Maya Road twine; Cloud Dies, Taylored Expressions; Copic Markers.

Cheers to You

Well, people are certainly getting in the holiday spirit around here this week, with Christmas just days away!  So I have the perfect holiday card for you today, in some non-traditional colours.  Here is the fun gal from Art Impressions Cheers to You set (Sku #4664):
Isn't she festive??  She was fun to colour, and would look great in a more traditional colour combo, too.  Now I have a bonus card to share - with the holidays fast approaching, I won't have time to share many more cards, and I really loved how these little guys turned out.  Here is the snowman trio from the Holly Jolly Set (Sku #4667):
