Dynamic Duos #37

We have a lovely neutral colour combo for you this week at Dynamic Duos: the colours are Soft Suede & Crumb Cake.  I decided to do a sympathy card with a bit of tone on tone sponging on a 5 1/2" square card:

A Rainbow Color Dare

The Color Dare challenge blog was started by a fellow consultant, Sarah Stone, and I've been hoping to play along - so here's my first shot!  This week is a rainbow challenge... so I used an idea that I'd seen on Pinterest of stamping butterflies down the side of a card.  I was going to cut off the white edge to the right of the butterflies, following the shape of their wings and then glue a piece of patterned paper underneath... but my daughter convinced me that it was great the way it is!

This was pretty CAS for me!

Cardstock is White Daisy; Stamp sets are Treasure Life & Butterfly Kiss; Inks are Black, Creme Brulee, Sorbet, Tulip, Juniper & Pacifica. - all CTMH.

Mojo Monday #247

I went with the square version of this week's Mojo Monday sketch.  And I grabbed some papers and embellishments that have been around for a while... and had some fun roughing them up a bit around the edges:

I've been a little slow at both creating & posting lately, so there's nothing like a little Mojo Monday sketch to get things going again.  Here's this week's sketch by Julee:

A New Heart2Heart Challenge!

The 1st Heart2Heart Challenge for 2011 is on!  I am thrilled to be one of the Design Team members for the next few months, along with some very talented ladies (see the links to their blogs on my sidebar).  We're also welcoming the wonderfully creative Vicki Wizniuk to join us as a guest designer for the month of January.  To play along - CTMH products must be included in your artwork, but it does not have to be 100% CTMH.  There's more... we have 2 sponsors: Haley Dyer and Susan Winters who will be giving prizes to 2 randomly selected players at the end of the month.  Now without further ado... this week is a colour challenge:

Color Throwdown Challenge #105

I seem to be on a purple & green theme lately... This week's Color Throwdown Challenge incorporates purple, green & brown, so I decided to work with a square card (5 1/2").  Here goes:
