Florentine & Tailor Made

Yes... another class card!  This is the second version of one I posted last week.  I just got the new Florentine papers, and new that they'd work beautifully with this design:

Here are both versions:

Patterned papers are Florentine; Cardstock is Chocolate & Colonial White; Stamp sets are Tailor Made, Say it in Style & Simple Stitches; all CTMH.

A Stella card

The Stella paper pack has such wonderful papers!  One of them is all sewing pattern pieces - so it put me in the mood to do a sewing themed card.  This is one that we're making in my April card class (they'll be doing stamped stitching instead of the real version that I did).  I used chalk to colour in the dress (it matches perfectly in real life, the pic is a bit off) and I used Copic markers to colour the rhinestones to match the dress:

Inspired By Challenge #9

This is my second post for today - scroll down to see my Mojo Monday card :o)  Laurel chose the cutest vintage Minnie Mouse picture for this week's Inspired By challenge... and I knew that I had to use my cute little dress form and something melon-y colourwise.  I also decided to try colouring with Copics on patterned paper, and kindof like how it turned out?  There is still time to play in this week's challenge, so head over to the blog and check it out.  Here's what I came up with:

I am so excited!!  I just checked out the Mojo Monday blog, and I was selected as one of the winners in last week's contest!  And lucky me gets to pick out a Verve stamp set for free (I can't stop smiling :o)  Here's my winning card again...

Mojo Monday #177

I've been dying to use these papers for a few months now... and with the arrival of this new stamp set this week, I finally had all the pieces fall in place.  The thimble and scissors were embossed in silver to make them shiny, and I softly chalked the flower and ruffles on the dress to pick up the vintagey colours in the background papers.  I've used this week's Mojo Monday sketch:
