Sweet Sunday Sketch #183

I have a bright and sunny card today using the current Sweet Sunday Sketch.  I pulled out one of last year's Key Ingredients kits and that lovely flower from Something Splendid:

Patterned papers are Hello Summer, Echo Park; Paper,cardstock & ribbon, Key Ingredients; Stamp sets are Something Splendid and Say it in Style, CTMH; Inks are Creme Brulee, Sorbet & Black, CTMH; Licorice Opaque pearls, CTMH.

I really loved this week's inspiration card by muse Maille Belles on the CASE Study Challenge blog, and thought it would make a great Mother's Day card.  I've used some vintage CTMH stamps & paper for this one:

Color Throwdown Challenge #110

I haven't had a chance to do the Color Throwdown Challenge for the last couple of weeks, so I'm glad to be back!  Here is the color inspiration for this week:

This is similar to a card I did a few weeks ago, but I really loved the simplicity of it, so I made a 5"x6 1/2" version with a little ribbon:

All supplies are CTMH: Stamp Set is Something Splendid; Cardstock is White Daisy, Vineyard Berry, Grey Wool & Baby Pink Textured; Inks are Vineyard Berry, Baby Pink & Grey Wool; Ribbon is Vineyard Berry Organdy; Opaque Pearls.

New colours: Pear & Lagoon!

Here's a peek of 2 more of the new CTMH colours debuting Sept 1st: Pear is the green, and Lagoon is the blue-green shade.  The stamped images are our new stamp set "The Present".  The larger card is 5x6 1/2", and the little one is a standard 4 1/4"x5 1/2".

All supplies are CTMH: Stamp sets are The Present, Intrinsic Backgrounds, Spot On Backgrounds; Cardstock is Desert Sand, Pear, Lagoon & White Daisy; Inks are Desert Sand, Lagoon & Pear.

New colour - Smoothie!

Second post of the day... after receiving 4 of our new colours today, I was playing around with "Smoothie" to see what it looked like with a few of our colours, so here it is with Creme Brulee & Blush:  (this is NOT my best stamping, I was playing with the August SOTM "Something Splendid" and wasn't taking a ton of time - but loved the results and wanted to make them into some simple square cards)
