A couple of Christmas cards
I have two Christmas cards to share today, both using the same elements, but for two different sketch challenges. First up is The Challenge #17 where I am just using the sketch:
And here is this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge:

Merry, Merry Holiday
Yay! I've finally got another Christmas card made! I've had a bit of a break from working on my holiday cards, but want to get back to doing at least one new one a week. I've combined this week's Merry Monday challenge to use pinecones, greenery & plaid on your card (those are little brown pinecones on the wreath!), and have used the current Seize the Sketch for my layout. As I was editting my photo just now, I realized that one of my red sparkles has fallen off the wreath - which is why it looks like something is missing in the photo!
Patterned papers are Mistletoe; Cardstock is New England Ivy & Colonial White; Stamp set is Merry, Merry Holiday; Inks are Sweet Leaf, Desert Sand & New England Ivy - all Close To My Heart.

Merry Monday #92 & Freshly Made Sketch #120
I had a great time making Christmas cards today for this week's Merry Monday challenge... which was to use Chocolate, Kraft, Red & Vanilla with ribbon. I pulled out the Classy Doily stamp, which I haven't used yet (gasp!) and coloured it up with my Copics. I was all set to make two of them, but decided to change up the colour combo for the second one, using the Frosted papers. I've used this week's Freshly Made Sketch for both:
Patterned papers are Mistletoe & Frosted; Cardstock is Chocolate, Kraft, Colonial White, Cocoa & Frosted Turquiose; Stamp set is Classy Doily; Chocolate/Cream striped ribbon - all Close To My Heart; Copic Markers.

Merry Monday & Freshly Made Sketches
I have a simple little Christmas card that came together pretty quickly... I've used this week's Freshly Made Sketch and the Merry Monday prompt of using a tree & some bling on your card:
I am a post behind in my quest to do a card a day for November, so even though I had this half assembled yesterday, I didn't get it posted until now, so stay tuned for something else later today.
Patterned papers are Mistletoe; Cardstock is Colonial White; Ink is Chocolate; Stamp set is Evergreen - all CTMH; MFT snowflake die, Martha Stewart snowflake punch.

Another quick one...
I'm trying hard to get teacher gifts sent out tomorrow, and hope to put the last few cards in the mail... so I *think* these are my last Christmas cards of the season. Fairly simple, and similar to a few I've done this year, but I still have a bit of the Mistletoe paper kicking around - so here's what I came up with:
Ribbon, Michael's; Stamp set is Holiday Trinkets; Patterned papers are Mistletoe; Cardstock is Cocoa & Colonial White; Inks are Garden Green, Cocoa & Cranberry - all CTMH

Two Challenges
I'm combining this week's Heart2Heart Challenge (gift items) and the Color Throwdown Challenge. I made a set of Christmas gift tags that I'm giving as a hostess gift next weekend. Sometimes I think that tags take longer to make than cards! But it was fun. Here is our colour inspiration:
Patterned papers are Mistletoe, & Mistletoe Creative Basics; Cardstock is Cocoa, New England Ivy, Cranberry & Colonial White; Stamp sets are Just for the Holidays, Christmas Melodies & New Fallen Snow; Inks are Cranberry, Cocoa, Desert Sand & New England Ivy - all CTMH; Michael's ribbon, kraft paper; Martha Stewart punch, Stickles.

Nature's Gift
I loved this stamp set as soon as I saw it, so I hope to make a few more Christmas cards with it before the season is over. This is a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" version of a card I made a few weeks ago as a square card for the Heart2Heart Challenge blog. I wanted a simpler version to sell at my craft show, without the pleated ribbon:
Patterned paper is Mistletoe; Cardstock is Colonial White & Cocoa; Stamp set is Nature's Gift; Inks are Garden Green & Desert Sand; Ribbon is Creative Basics, Mistletoe - all CTMH. Nestabilities circles; Martha Stewart punch.

Color Throwdown Challenge #116
Time for a little festive card-making with this week's Color Throwdown Challenge. I used the cover of the current Papercrafts magazine for a little inspiration for the circle. I stamped branches around the outside, and then embroidered little red french knots to simulate berries - I love the look and the texture it adds to the card. Here is our colour inspiration:
The card is 5 1/2" square:

Mojo Monday! & Heart2Heart Challenge
I could hardly wait for the challenge sites to be up this morning! I got right down to business with the Mojo Monday Challenge #157... pulled out the new Christmas papers and started creating:
Ribbon is Michael's; Patterned Papers are Mistletoe; Cardstock is Cocoa & Colonial White; Inks are Garden Green, New England Ivy & Cocoa; Stamp sets are Holiday Trinkets & Festive Thoughts - all CTMH. Martha Stewart punch.
And for this week's H2H Challenge we also had a sketch! I'm especially proud of the little scalloped circle behind the deer, I used a 'straight-line' scallop, and curved it around on my block to create the circle shape. The card is 5 1/2" square:
All supplies are CTMH: Patterned paper is Mistletoe; Cardstock is Cocoa & Colonial White; Stamp sets are Nature's Gift & A Little Everything; Inks are Cocoa & Garden Green; Ribbon is Creative Basics, Mistletoe; Metal tag is Connections Club; Nature's Ambiance rub ons.

Mojo Monday #154!
Here is this week's Mojo Monday sketch with the option of going square or circular:
I've been wanting to try Close To My Heart's clear acetate cards for a while... and this one fit the bill perfectly. This little circular card is teeny! It measures barely 4 1/4" edge to edge, but is perfect when you only need a little greeting on the inside. I chose our new Christmas paper pack, "Mistletoe", and inked the edges up with a little Cocoa ink:
I've shown a few different pics... because it's really hard to photograph the acetate without getting a glare from the flash! Here's what it looks like opened:
All supplies are CTMH: Papers are Mistletoe; Cardstock is Cocoa & Colonial White; Inks are New England Ivy & Cocoa; Cranberry Sparkles; Clear Cards; Adhesive - Liquid Glass.
