I got these adorable kitchen dies from Your Next Stamp this fall, so I added a few along with some snowflakes. I fussy cut out my penguin, and popped him up with some pop dots.

A Sweet Christmas Card
Yay, my first two Christmas cards of 2018 are now sitting in my stash... I made two of these using some older stuff that I've had sitting around for a bit. I'm using the sketch from The Paper Players this week, as well as the pretty inspiration photo from Laurel's Inspired By challenge for the colours/kitchen theme:

Patterned papers are Snowhaven, CTMH; Cardstock is Glacier, Whisper & White Daisy, CTMH; Copic Markers; Dies are Your Next Stamp, Die-namics & STAX, Stamp set is Baking Penguins by Inky Antics.

Feel the Love
I am playing along with the current Art Impressions challenge which is "Feel the Love"! They're wanting to see anything love-themed. I am using one of the cute Ai slider stamp sets, but made it into a regular card. Here is Panda Slider:
I coloured the panda with Copic markers and fussy cut him out. I stamped the cloud image on both white & patterned papers, then mounted one cloud and the plane with pop dots. I hand drew the little trail with a thin marker.

I think he'd make a perfect valentine :o)

Fusion & Inspired By
I am using my new favourite Verve set to play along with a few challenges today. I started off being inspired by the Fusion sketch & photo, as well as Laurel Seabrook's Inspired By photo with all the graphic shapes/muted colours... and this week's Cas-ual Fridays inspiration is "More Coffee Please!":
Stamp set is Happiness Is by Verve; Patterned paper is Knit Picky by Lawn Fawn; Ink is Chocolate by CTMH; Cardstock is Whisper, Cocoa, White Daisy & Glacier by CTMH.
I just tweaked the colours a little and made a second one:
I really adore this taupey/grey with the chocolate... I can see why it's such a popular home decor colour combo. *It's a little warmer in real life!

Masculine cards
I've got a couple of masculine cards to share today, for several challenges that have closed! Just couldn't quite get them photographed in time. Oh well, I'm sharing them anyway :o) Both are using the older Marjolaine papers from Basic Grey, and the Happy Thoughts stamp set from Verve. *I am in time for The Paper Players colour challenge, though! Scroll down to see the combo at the bottom of my post. Here is one that was for the Fusion Sketch Challenge:
And another shot to show how lovely the metallic silver strip is!

Garden Window
I love the Mini Try-fold stamp sets from Art Impressions, and had this one coloured up and sitting on my craft desk, so decided to assemble it into a card today. Here is Garden Window MTF:
The finished white area of the card is 3 5/8" square, which I mounted on some warm blue cardstock, and then onto the pretty 5" square of pink paper. Here's what it looks like as you open the flaps:
And finally, the sweet little kitten on the inside. The set includes the stamps and dies that you see here, as well as the sentiment "Hello Friend" - but I like to leave my cards blank until I know what I'll be using them for!
I glued some 1/2" pink organdy ribbon onto the back side, which ties nicely into a bow to hold it all together.
Patterned papers are Garden Party by Pebbles and Birthday Wishes by Echo Park. Coloured with Copic markers.

Masculine Watercolours
My husband's birthday is coming up, so I decided to use a couple of watercolour scenes that I painted last fall to make up some masculine birthday cards. I am using the Art Impressions watercolour stamps, along with my Marvy & Tombow markers:
*I am very excited to be entering my cards into the current Art Impressions challenge "Anything Goes"!
Stamp sets used: WC Rustic Cabins, WC Fir Trees and Foliage Set. Sentiment is Close To My Heart; Patterned papers are Marjolaine by Basic Grey. Tombow & Marvy markers.

Freshly Made Sketches & some new Verve
I received some new (to me!) Verve stamps just before Christmas, and got a chance to play with them this week. I am using the current Freshly Made Sketch & my favourite Lawn Fawn plaids:
I tried to do a bit of an ombre effect with my inks... and it worked fairly well using my Misti. I did three different versions!
Patterned papers are Perfectly Plaid by Lawn Fawn. Stamp set and dies are Verve; Copic markers; Inks are Creme Brulee, Smoothie & Cotton Candy by Close To My Heart; Cardstock is White, Sunflower & Crystal Blue, also CTMH.
