Cards for the Front Lines

I am a proud aunt to a nephew who is a new doctor, and he loves giving out my doctor & nurse cards as thank you's, birthday cards for coworkers etc.  And I am happy to make them.  If you're home like me, with time on your hands - consider making a card to send to someone who's out there helping to keep us all safe & healthy.
All of the images are from Art Impressions - the Proud Nurse Set, and the Get Well Set that you can find at Michaels or here on the Ai website.
Papers are all older Close To My Heart ones that I have in my stash.
Everything was coloured with Copic Markers on Cryogen cardstock,
I managed to make 2 of each!

The last two Doctor/Nurse cards

The last for now, that is!  I hope to make another batch for my nephew in the fall.  I used the Dream Pop papers from Close To My Heart, along with the Proud Nurse set from Art Impressions:

Both are coloured with Copic markers, and cut from Art Impressions Inside-out Stitched dies.

More Doctor/Nurse cards

I have four more of the cards I'm making for my nephew... using the Proud Nurse Set & UM4099 from Art Impressions:

I had such a blast making these - all are coloured with Copic markers and the papers are an older 6" pad that I've had around for awhile.

Doctor cards

I have a nephew who is doing his residency after finishing med school, and he needs a stash of thank you cards to thank the many mentors & practices that he works with all the time.  I've made him a few of these in the past, and apparently they're quite a hit when he hands them out.  So here are 3 from my latest batch:
I used the Hello Again papers from Carta Bella, and used my sewing machine to add a little zigzag stitching to the backgrounds.
This image is from the Art Impressions Proud Nurse Work & Play set.  There's a similar sentiment with a birthday angle in the set, but these are to be thank you cards, to I printed out all the sentiments with my computer
My two fellas are from the UM4099 set from Art Impressions, and I raised up the sentiments with pop dots, and added a syringe to "Doctors call the shots".  Everything is coloured with Copic markers.

Doctor cards

I have two more cards to share that I've made for my nephew who's in Med school - I think they'll go over well!  The image is Doctor Bill (Sku #4088), and both sentiments are from the Proud Nurse Set (Sku #4899) - all are Art Impressions:

Playful People

The current challenge on the Art Impressions blog is "Playful People" - and the design team is helping to launch the Ai Work & Play sets.  I have a set of four cards using Proud Nurse Set (Sku #4899):
I had a great time making these... and once I got going, I realized how many friends I have that are nurses, lab techs, OT's or just work in a hospital - so I have a feeling this is going to be a very well used set!
The inside sentiment on this one says "At the end of a 12 hour shift it's good to know that the ER is just down the hall"!  There are seven sentiments included in the set, two main images, and four small ones.
I used some metallic gold thread to zigzag stitch on each of the cards, then added some gold and black sequins for a little more bling.

Check out what the rest of the design team has to share today - there are four new Work & Play sets available now on the Art Impressions website.

Copics used - Greens - BG18, BG15, BG13, BG11
Greys - W5, W3, W1, W00
Reds - R35, R32, R30
Skin tones - E37, E34, E31, E11, E00, E000, R30
Hair - E18, E15, E07, E09, E02, E55, E53, E51, Y26, Y23, E50
