A Retirement Card

One of the loveliest ladies I know is retiring today (sniff).  Years ago, Trish led book clubs when I brought my kids to the library, and even now when they are adults, she remembers everything about them.  Little did I know that I'd wind up working with her for 6+ years down the road...
We're sending her off with a bang, so I needed a fun card to add to her gift.

Quick Retirement card

Well, maybe "quick" isn't the right term... I did kind of whip it off, though!  A close friend was retiring yesterday, so before I went to work, I quickly stamped off the images from the Art Impressions set His & Hers Campers (Sku #SC0651)... then I coloured them up during my lunch hour, fussy cut them during my break... and quickly assembled the card when I got home, and then we headed out the door for the party!

Retirement card

I have a co-worker retiring today, and even though we haven't worked together all that long, she's been a hoot to be around!  So your average sedate retirement card wasn't going to cut it.  I pulled out Millie from Art Impressions, gave her a zingy little outfit, and made a fun card:
And of course, your average retirement sentiment wasn't going to cut it.  Here's the inside:
 Happy retirement, Alice!
