Pand-tastic!

I had fun colouring up all the panda images from Art Impressions' new Funny Farm release: Pandtastic #5113. I was supposed to make two of them for Creativation, but kept going and wound up with four cards using these wonderful Lawn Fawn papers:

New Ai Funny Farm (Hedgehogs!)

Anything hedgehogs makes for a great card, in my opinion! There are two new Funny Farm sets available in the Art Impressions store this spring, and today I have two Hedgehogs #5112 cards to share:

These are quick and easy to colour images, so you can make a few cute cards in no time. I used Copic markers, matted and adhered to my card bases with pop dots.

Work & Play and Funny Farm

Our last Art Impressions launch before the holidays! The design team are sharing the two new Funny Farm and two new Work & Play sets that are now available in the Ai store. I have Holy Moley Set (Sku #4934) to show you:

This is a sweet set containing four mole images, a couple of accessories, and six sentiments! Thank goodness the packaging that comes with the sets is in full colour... cause I didn't exactly know how to colour a mole :o) He is pretty cute.

I decided some paper piecing was in order, so I stamped him on two different patterned papers from Lawn Fawn, cut the outfits apart and made two matching cards. I pulled out my button stash, added some thread and twine and there you have it.

Publications!

I was lucky enough to have two Art Impressions cards published in the current edition of Creative Scrapbooker magazine! The sitting teacher and the coffee-drinking-chicken are both on page 138... I also made two other coordinating cards, so I'm going to share them all today. Here are the two from Teachers Rule (Sku #4901):

I've had these wonderful school themed papers for a while, and I made a bunch of geometric shapes to place behind her, as well as the cute little ruler that comes with the set. The ruler & sentiment are adhered with pop dots:

On this card I did a little zig zag stitching with my sewing machine, made the sentiment into a speech bubble, and adhered it with pop dots:

Here's my magazine gal! I added some coffee mug die cuts to go with her sentiment:

And everyone loves dancing cows :o)

Old Goat Birthday cards

I can't believe that it's August 1st already... it means we're officially half way through summer! And I have a ton of family birthdays in the fall, so I'm working on getting my stash of cards ready to go. I am using another Funny Farm set today (I adore all the punny sayings in them!). Here are a couple of cards using Old Goat Set (Sku #AiCS37):

If I'm not mistaken... I believe this is the first time that I've ever coloured goats!! I actually did a Google image search to make sure that I was doing it correctly (smile!). They definitely come in an assortment of colours. I coloured up the herd, fussy cut them out and adhered them to a matted circle with pop dots:

It's a well known fact that goats like to chew... so here is one of them gnawing away on the decorations. I coloured him with my Copics, matted him on black, and added a circle that I zigzag stitched down with gold thread:
