Greenery Invites Set

I have the third card to share today using Greenery Invites from Art Impressions - all with gold foil using my Minc machine:

When I first went to use this stamp set, being that it is intended for weddings, I got on Pinterest to see what are current/trendy colour combos for weddings.  There was a lot of blush pink, navy & neutrals, so I knew that these papers from Pink Paislee would be perfect.

This is a 5 1/2" square card that I made by running the wreath image and sentiment through my Minc machine to add gold foil.  I die cut them both with stitched dies, matted with a matte navy cardstock, and then onto the shimmery blush square of cardstock.  The sentiment is adhered with pop dots for a little dimension.  Enjoy!

Greenery Invites - You're Invited

Sharing my second card today using Greenery Invites - again using my Minc machine to add gold foiling to the font and corner images:

 It's so hard to photograph glimmer!  But I think you can see in the first photo how pretty and shimmery this is in real life.  After die cutting my sentiment with a stitched square die, I mounted it on navy and then a larger square of shimmery blush cardstock.  The corner images were fussy cut and mounted with foam tape.  You can find the Greenery Invites set on the Art Impressions website, here.

Keeping my roll going sharing a card made with the new Greenery Invites from Art Impressions:

I knew from the moment I saw this set, that I wanted to do some gold foiling!  So using my Minc machine, I foiled one of the wreath images, and my sentiment.  I matted the large circle with some wonderful shimmery blush pink cardstock, and added a few gold sequins to add to the glimmer.

I'll be posting my other two cards using this set over the coming days.

Colourific Christmas Cards

I have four projects on the Colourific blog today - all Christmas cards.  When I first saw this gorgeous tree made of stars in the Mr & Mrs Snow stamp set... I knew that it was wanting to be foiled!  I am so happy that I did... I love the end result:

 After running it through my machine, I cut it out and mounted on a simple triangle of dark green cardstock, adding a little brown base - then created a square card with my patterned tree paper.  I added a snowflake die cut, and cut the word "joy" out of some gold cardstock.  A few gold sequins added to the glimmer.

It's always hard to photograph anything shiny!  It's got quite a lovely shimmer in real life.

A few weeks back, I did some butterfly cards using the A4 Alphabet & Numbers stamp set, and wanted to try using it for some Christmas cards:

I'm sure you've seen variations on this idea before, but I wanted to give it a try with Colourific's fabulous font!

I stamped the words, leaving spaces where the O's should be... then I photocopied them onto some white cardstock (the foil only sticks to toner), and then ran them all through my Minc machine with gold foil to make my shimmery letters.

 I die cut two snowflakes from gold cardstock, and layered them onto each sentiment.

 All of the words are adhered to the base with pop dots for a little dimension.

And of course, I couldn't resist using my sewing machine to sew around the panels.  *So if you don't have Christmas stamp sets on hand, but want to put some holiday cards together - this is a quick & easy idea, and a great way to use a font.

Colourific Christmas cards

I have the sweetest images to share with you today - all from the new holiday stamp sets from Colourific:

I'm all about bright colours & papers... and these images had me grabbing these bold patterns, and I love the aqua added in with the traditional red & green.

I stamped and coloured the snowmen from the Mr & Mrs Snow set with Copic markers, and started building my snowy scene... and felt like it needed a little glimmer.  So I ran the pole and striped scarf through my Minc machine, adding red foil to them, and I made the snowflakes silver.

 I finished off my card with some die cut snowflakes and some zigzag stitching with my sewing machine.

 There are actually three sweet birds that come in the Singing Robins stamp set, but I decided to just feature one, sitting on a branch with the snowy sky behind him.  There's a little shimmer on this card also, as I foiled the sentiment in silver as well:

Bedtime Bear & the Minc Machine

I am posting today on the One Crazy Stamper blog!  We have all kinds of wonderful inspiration in store for you in 2016... and to kick things off, I have the sweetest little bear from High Hopes today, along with my Minc'd background paper.  Here is Bedtime Bear (S188):

 This is a 5 1/2" square card, and I used my Heidi Swapp Minc Machine to create the silver foil background of 'dream' words which I thought worked perfectly with my sleepy bear stamp.  The Minc machine will adhere foil to images printed on a laser printer, or run through a photocopier, but this sheet of cardstock was from the Heidi Swapp 6" x 6" paper collection that you can find here in the OCS store.  It is a pack of 24 preprinted sheets that work with the Minc machine, so I selected some silver foil and ran it through.  Here's a photo taken to show off the silver words a bit better:

 The image was cut out and popped up over a circular die cut.  The stamp comes with the little star placed as shown, but my daughter came up with the idea of having him dangle on a string - which I loved.  Here are all of the products used that can be found in the One Crazy Stamper store:
