Today I'm using one of the original Art Impressions Watercolor Mini sets: #4608 Open Window. It's such a great little scene to paint, and it made up quickly into a card:
Patterned papers are Jenn Hadfield & Lawn Fawn; Wonky Stitched Square die, My Favorite Things; Stamp set is Open Window from Art Impressions; Tombow & Marvy markers; Sentiment is Close To My Heart.

Inspired By - Christmas card
This week's Inspired By inspiration photo has a nautical theme... so turning it into a Christmas card may be a bit of a stretch! But I'm hoping you can see that I was inspired by the colours, and the piece of driftwood when I went to make my card...
Quick & easy - works for me. Here's the photo:
Patterned papers & sticker are I Love Winter by Echo Park; Sea Glass & White cardstock & tag die are Close to my Heart; Twine from The Twinery; Alpine Stitched Snowflake dies are Poppy Stamps.

Dashing Through the Snow!
I got another Christmas card made last night... using this sweet penguin from Sugar Pea Designs 'Eskimo Kisses'. You're going to see a lot from this set, as I think I coloured up 16 images this weekend - now they're all ready to be made up into cards. I've used I Love Winter papers from Echo Park:
Patterned papers are I Love Winter by Echo Park; Stamp set is Eskimo Kisses, by Sugar Pea Designs; Alpine Stitched Snowflake dies, Poppy Stamps; Stitched Circle & Fishtail dies, My Favorit Things; Coloured with Copic markers.

Quilt themed card set
I have a set of six quilt themed cards to share today, using the My Favorite Things Die-namics Quilt Square Cover Up die. I've used an older Close To My Heart paper pack, cutting the die out in 3 different patterned papers and 3 colours of cardstock. Even though the execution of the cards was pretty straightforward... the planning of the patterns took a bit of work! I'm happy with the result, though - and my quilting sister-in-law will be getting a little set as a gift in the near future.
I matted all of the quilt squares on a chocolate square of cardstock, and then mounted them to the background with pop dots. I kept the sentiments pretty generic so that they can be easily used.
Patterened papers and cardstock are by Close To My Heart; Die is My Favorite Things; Stamp set is Verve.

Sugar Pea Mix It Up challenge
I've had a quiet month so far here on my blog, but I have been doing a lot of creating! Just making things that I can't share for a few months... I did have a little while this evening to make a card for the August Mix-It-Up challenge on the Sugar Pea Designs blog, though. It's my first time breaking into the sweet Eskimo Kisses stamp set:
If you know my style at all - this is seriously CAS for me! Patterned paper is my usual go-to thing... but this sketch really had me thinking differently. I blended two colours of Distress Oxide ink in the top corner to put under the sentiment, and blended a little soft aqua on the lower left to look like an icy pond. You can't see it too well in the photo, but I added some swooshes of blue with a Copic marker as skate marks. A little stitching and some sequins, and that was it.
Stamp set is Eskimo Kisses by Sugar Pea Designs; Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron & Broken China Distress Oxide Inks; Tuxedo Black Ink by Memento & Onyx Black Versafine ink for the sentiment; Copic Markers.
