Sending Joy

This is a new-to-me Betterpress plate set - Colour Mix Joy from Spellbinders.

I used the registration plate to get my placing for each of the letters, pressing them in different colours, overlapping a little.  I added a few of the sentiments that come with the set in black.

I cut them both out with a decorative frame die from The Greetery, and matted them with brushed gold cardstock.

I added some holiday bits and pieces to each one along with some gold pearls.

Pumpkin Patch

I have pulled out some of my favourite Pigment Craft Co. sets today to create a card for my sister.

This is the Pumpkin Patch, and Fall Wreath sets, all stamped in Distress Oxide Inks.  I stamped all kinds of the leaves, planning to make a bright coloured wreath, but went this route instead.  (Although I still have a ton of leaves, so stay tuned!).

The coverplate is also from Pigment Craft Co... just can't find it's name at the moment!  I inked it up with a little Broken Glass ink before die cutting it.  The sentiment is from Sweater Season Sentiments, double layered for a bit of extra dimension.  The pumpkins are all adhered with 3D foam adhesive.

S is for Suitcase

Still playing along with the Alphabet Soup challenge in the Papercrafter's Inner Circle group on Facebook. So this is S is for Suitcase.

I am using the Retro Suitcase die and stamp set, which is part of the We All Have Baggage collection by Sheri Ballantyne for Spellbinders.  Love this little suitcase!!  I am using the older Travel Girl papers from October Afternoon - which were really fun to piece together.

The sentiment is from Studio Light, and cut in Spellbinders Brushed Silver Treasured cardstock, with a vellum mat.

Fall Peony Bouquet

I wanted to do a fall version of the cards I created a few weeks ago, using the Lush Peony Bouquet press plate from Alex Syberia Designs.

The plate was pressed in Betterpress Black ink on regular cream cardstock.  I used Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn, Abandoned Coral, Wild Honey and Rustic Hinge Distress Oxide inks and the coordinating stencils to colour the florals.

I used two frame dies from The Greetery to cut the images out, and mounted them to some warm brown cardstock with 3D foam adhesive.  A few pearls and pressed sentiments finished them off.

Ruscus

I used the remaining portion of ink blended watercolour paper with another die from The Greetery - Ruscus (it's a type of foliage!).

This time I adhered it to a black cardstock panel, then mounted it with foam adhesive over some matte gold cardstock on a white base.

I added some irridescent pearls and a gold foiled sentiment.
