I snuck in one last post for the year! I bought this stamp/stencil set a little while ago, and wanted to pull it out again to try something new. With the help of my Misti, I stamped out 4 of these, and tried different colour combos, and different jewel designs. This is the Charming Floral Border set from Pinkfresh Studio, using their inks and jewels as well:

Wow! Always fun to be at this point of the year, and look back at everything I created. It's great to revisit cards that I loved, and make plans for what I want to create going forward. Framed Butterfly
I've used the large Butterfly stamp/stencil set from Pinkfresh Studio again. This was coloured up last summer, and I wanted some quick cards for a gift, so put together a simple card using what I had close at hand. The sentiment was already stamped & embossed, and I had a scrap of metallic gold cardstock the perfect size to cut my frame.

Honeysuckle Stems
Oh, how I adore this stamp set! This is the lovely Honeysuckle Stems stamp set from The Greetery. It includes three different stems - and this is only one of them. Expect to see many more of these from me! I've used Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide inks - and kept the layout clean and simple. Perfect Sentiments stamps and dies from Pinkfresh Studio were used for the sentiments.
The Crimped Frame die from The Greetery was used to cut my panels out, a few sequins were added, and the panel was adhered with 3D foam adhesive to the base.

Simply Wonderful Birthday
A few posts back, I used the Simply Wonderful stamp/die set from The Greetery to make some stripy Christmas cards. This is such a great set, in that it also comes with birthday sentiments. I had stamped up these 'wonderfuls' a few months ago, and wanted to start building my stash of generic cards, so I put a couple of versions together:
I did some background ink blending to break up the whiteness! And the die cut was layered to give it a little extra dimension.

Ruscus
My most recent order from The Greetery included this pretty leafy die called "Ruscus Die". I can only presume that is what this foliage is called, it's not a name I'm familiar with. But the die is gorgeous! I started by ink blending Speckled Egg, Faded Jeans and Pumice Stone inks onto my panel, then sprinkled it with a bit of water to get the oxidization going. I cut the die twice, in vellum and again in some dark silver glitter paper, offsetting them just a little when I adhered them to the base. I popped up the Perfect Sentiments greeting from Pinkfresh Studio with some 3D foam adhesive.

Another Daisies Card
This is the second card I made from my October Painted Daisies class with the Papercrafter's Workshop. All products are from Pinkfresh Studio: Painted Daisies stencil and die set, the Scalloped Frames and Perfect Sentiments. Their Champagne Pearls finished it off:

Painted Daisies
This is a card that I made with Kris from the Papercrafter's Workshop back in October... but I had left it blank, wanting to add whatever sentiment that I needed. So for a quick birthday card, I added the 'Yay' sentiment from Pinkfresh Studio's Perfect Sentiments set, and put a little Wink of Stella on the flowers. The class was using this beautiful Painted Daisies stencil set in different ways.

Striped Tags
Here is the tag version of the cards I posted a few days ago... When I cut my 3/8" strips of cardstock, they each made two cards, with a few inches left over. Not wanting to waste my pretty stripes, I glued them onto some white tags that I diecut with a Studio Katia Dotted Tag die, added my glittery snowflakes, and used the Pinkfresh Studio Perfect Sentiments to finish them off.
I am entering the December challenge on the Pinkfresh Studio blog! The theme is anything to do with the Holidays.

Christmas Matchbook
I got this sweet little Christmas Matchbook stamp and die set especially to make a tiny little Christmas card for my two great nephews. This is Art Impression's Santa's Workshop:
These are the cutest little pop up style of cards, they fold up flat to fit in the tiny envelope on the left. On the other side of the envelope is an even tinier envelope that holds the tiny tag you see here. The writing on the tag is about 1/16" high. All fun and fiddly to put together.Wednesday, December 14, 2022
Simply Wonderful
I think I've finally got my last Christmas cards made! I got ten of these done for coworkers to give out this week. I love this style of a colour strip background, and thought that the Simply Wonderful stamp and die set from The Greetery would work perfectly with it. I jazzed them up with some sparkly snowflakes.

Quick tags
Quick only in that I had already coloured up these images! So a few cranks of my die cutting machine to cut out all the pieces, and I just fussy cut the images and glued them down. All images are Art Impressions!

Shaker tags
These were so fun to make, but definitely take a little extra time to put together. I've been wanting to get some shaker tags made up for gifts, and had these little penguins from Sugar Pea Designs coloured up and ready to add to my tags. After die cutting all my pieces, I created the shaker pocket by cutting a rectangle to glue behind, added some foam adhesive strips, and a piece of acetate - then glued it all under the opening in my tag, after adding an assortment of glitter and sprinkles.
Tags are Studio Katia, and the Sentiment is from Art Impressions.

Same design, new papers. I made a PILE of these sweet, skinny tags this weekend (I should really show the underside - they all say To/From...), so I got 16 more of them made up with some papers that work with the limey green cardstock I stamped on.
Tear Strip Tags stamp and dies are from The Greetery, Large tags are Studio Katia, Little tags are Lawn Fawn. Papers are ancient Echo Park.

Tag Making!
I like to tuck a few Christmas tags into the cards that I send out at this time of year, and was so excited when The Greetery came out with the Tear Strip Tag stamp and die set! These unique skinny tags look great on their own, but I decided to layer them up with some patterned paper that I die cut with Studio Katia tags, and mini tags from Lawn Fawn. I love the end result.

A Red Barn Christmas
I am using the 5567 - Victorian House and Barn Set from Art Impressions to create a snowy Christmas card today.
The barn and fence are all one image, that I inked up in Tombow #969/565 and stamped onto my Bristol Smooth cardstock. I love using this bright white paper for snowy scenes! I masked off the barn, and added the two trees from 5060 - WC Snowman Set on either side. After softening the lines with a damp paintbrush, I painted the barn with #837, then drew in the barn boards with my Marvy 28 English Red pen. I used #969 to paint the door frame, to add woodgrain to the fence, as well as to paint my wooden star on the barn. Using the tiny foliage stamp from 5009 - WC Mini Flower Set, I stamped it in a circle in #249 to create the wreath on the fence, and then painted it on the underside of the snowy branches to show bits of the fir trees. I used #565 to paint in the sky, add shadows to the windows, eaves and snow - being sure to create a pathway to the barn, and add shadows around the fence. I drew in the bow with my red Twintone marker, and added Bleedproof white paint to the snowbanks, and to create snowflakes.
The sentiment is from 5566 - Christmas Sentiments Set (this set works on EVERY Christmas card!). I hope you'll check out the Art Impressions blog this Saturday to see what Dot & Tricia have to share for the Watercolour Weekend post.
