Valentines

 Getting some Valentines made for my children.  I usually do cute & fun ones for them, but this year I went more classy & dreamy!  I was inspired by the sketch on the Fusion Card Challenge blog (so happy to be playing along - it's been a while!).

This first one is my favourite - love this mix of colours.

Both patterned papers are from Pink Paislee (happy sigh...)

On both cards, I layered the word die with several layers of cardstock to make it a bit more substantial, and the hint of a shadow makes it stand out a little better against my busy backgrounds.

Greenery Invites Set

I have the third card to share today using Greenery Invites from Art Impressions - all with gold foil using my Minc machine:

When I first went to use this stamp set, being that it is intended for weddings, I got on Pinterest to see what are current/trendy colour combos for weddings.  There was a lot of blush pink, navy & neutrals, so I knew that these papers from Pink Paislee would be perfect.

This is a 5 1/2" square card that I made by running the wreath image and sentiment through my Minc machine to add gold foil.  I die cut them both with stitched dies, matted with a matte navy cardstock, and then onto the shimmery blush square of cardstock.  The sentiment is adhered with pop dots for a little dimension.  Enjoy!

Together For Christmas

When I see a gorgeous patterned paper like this one, I just have to buy it...  I loved the colours, and the pretty botanical/holiday illustration.  It is "Together For Christmas" by Pink Paislee, and when I was shopping at the Papercrafter's Workshop, I spied this Blue Obsidian Mirror Cardstock by Tonic Studios not far away, and knew that I had to pair the two together.

Scroll down to see how pretty this mettalic blue cardstock is... I put it on a white tag that I sponged with Worn Lipstick and Candied Apple Distress Oxide inks, keeping the center white to give it the illusion of being a round ornament.  I added a few sprigs of greenery and a knot of navy/white Baker's twine to finish it off.
