Sip, Sip Hooray!
I just adore this sentiment from My Favorite Things! You've seen my wine themed/ink blended cards on my blog a few weeks ago, but I have a new colourway using Distress Oxide Inks that I quite love:

Ink Blended Sky
Another of my ink blended cards to share today, using this wonderful Spellbinder's tree die:
I don't know if you can see it or not, but I spattered the background with a little water, and it gives the impression of a few stars in the evening sky.
Inks are Twisted Citron, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon & Blueprint sketch Distress Oxides; Spellbinder's die, Verve Sentiment.

Ink Blending
It's been a little quiet here on my blog... I've been doing lots of class planning behind the scenes, so I'll have those to share in a little bit. I spent the day experimenting with some Distress Oxide inks, tweaked this idea that I saw on Pinterest:
Inks are Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade & Wild Honey Distress Oxides; Sentiment is Verve's Happy Thoughts; Butterfly Die is Memory Box; Verve Pastel Sequin Mix.

Birthday Love
I have a friend at work who brings me a coffee every time we work a Saturday together... and I bring her a card. She's a tennis player, so I pulled out an old Art Impressions favourite - Birthday Love and put a couple of cards together. They are both versions of what I've done with this set in the past, but worth sharing again:
I really love that this background paper shows the words "poser" and "selfie"!
Patterned papers are Molly by Bella Blvd and Dotty by CTMH; Stamp set is Birthday Love by Art Impressions. Copic markers.

Sugar Pea Designs challenge #43
I am very happy to be playing along with the Sugar Pea Designs Mix It Up challenge for May! I recently got their new release stamp set Parisian Holiday, along with the Paris Cityscape die. My daughter spent her fall semester in France this year along with a few of her friends, so these were the perfect items to add to my craft room:
I started off by creating my background with several Distress Oxide inks, then I die cut the skyline in masking paper and put the negative down on the paper. I used the same colours to ink around the diecut, leaving a darker skyline. The jeune fille & her suitcase are coloured in Copics and mounted with pop dots, and I added a few pale pink sequins for a little sparkle.
I used the challenge sketch, and the photo for my colour inspiration:
