Puppy Watercolour card

Here is the final card that we'll be painting at my Ai Watercolour class at The Workshop in April (details here!)  The puppy set is one of my favourites, so I had to include one in the class!  The nice thing is that by switching up the colours, you can easily make him resemble your favourite canine.
Art Impressions stamp sets used are: WC Dogs set, WC Bench set, Foliage set and Flower set.  Marvy markers.  Contact Sheri at The Workshop to book your spot, there are two different days - I'd love to have you join us!  Here is a photo of all four of the cards we'll be painting at the class:

Bunny Watercolour

Here is card #3 that will be made at my April watercolour class for The Workshop (details here!).  This is also a similar card to one that I made last spring.  Perfect for an Easter card, spring birthday or just a hello.

Another Ai Watercolour

Here is the second card that I will be teaching at The Workshop in April (details here!).  This is a variation of a card that I made last summer.  The watercolour stamps are typically used for containers of flowers, or cottage type scenes, and I wanted to use the branches to just show a birdhouse and a bird - perfect for a birthday, thank you or thinking of you card:
Stamp sets used are Art Impressions: WC Branches Set, WC Birds Set, WC Foliage Set 2, WC Sentiments & half of the birdhouse from WC Series 7 Set 2.  Inks are Marvy & Tombow markers.

Inspired By & Sketchy Saturdays

Laurel Seabrook has two great challenges on the go right now... and I am playing along with both of them.  She has started Sketchy Saturdays on her blog, so I took the sketch and squished it down to make a horizontal card.  For her Inspired By challenge... I don't own any fox images, and my kitty ones weren't really the right fit, so I went with the graphic patterns and colours shown in the photo.
My brother-in-law likes to have a stash of cards on hand, so I'm sending him this one that'll work as a valentine or a general card that he can give to my sister!
Patterned papers are Photoplay & Papermania by Docrafts.  Dies are Verve (heart) and CTMH (love).  Coloured staples are CTMH.

Inspired By All The Little Things #80

I am so happy to be playing along with the Inspired By All The Little Things challenge!  I was on the original Design Team when Lesley started the challenge a couple of years ago - and it was a wonderful team to be a part of!  There is talent galore, and plenty of inspiration to be found.  I was inspired by the colours, the birdhouse, that gold 'hello' on the wall and the overall shabby chic feel of the photo.
I used a Teresa Collins paper pad called "Summer Stories", and dug out an old CTMH stamp set I had for the birdhouse.  I sewed a line of zigzag stitching with some metallic gold thread across the bottom, and die cut the word hello with an Avery Elle die.  The gumdrops are from Your Next Stamp.  I took another photo in some warmer lighting to try and show the gold cardstock a little better - the actual colour of the card is somewhere between the two photos!

Coffee BFF's

Here is my second card using the Art Impressions BFF's... this is Coffee BFF's:
I loved this pretty ombre background paper, and wanted to show it off a little, so again I went with a larger 5" x 6 1/2" card.  Cardstock is Sunshine, Outdoor Denim & Colonial white by Close To My Heart.  Coloured with Copic markers.  Patterned paper is Summer Dreams by Echo Park.

Freshly Made Sketch #325

I am feeling pretty smug, after getting SIX Christmas cards assembled today, using this week's Freshly Made Sketch!  And there's a seventh card sitting on my craft desk waiting to be assembled...  They're all just variations on the same theme, but I used up these American Crafts papers that I've had for a number of years, so it feels good to use up some old stuff, too:
I added some silver snowflakes to the first two... and had fun with these little green staples!

Patterned papers are Christmas by American Crafts.  Stamps are Close To My Heart; Stitched Alpine Snowflake dies are Poppy Stamps; Hexagon and Square stitched dies are Dienamics by My Favorite Things.
