Snowman card

Hello everyone!  I am sharing one of the 2014 holiday stamp sets from Art Impressions on the One Crazy Stamper store blog today: Season's Greetings Set.   I went with a fairly muted colour scheme to go with the teals/taupes/rusty reds in my patterned papers.
I stitched all of my panels with my sewing machine (my favourite thing to do on a card!) and added a few die cut snowflakes in coordinating papers as an embellishment.  Fairly simple layout, and it is nice and flat for mailing!  We hope you'll join in our November challenge on the One Crazy Stamper blog - it's anything goes, just no digi stamps, please!  You can link up your creation here.

Deconstructed Sketch #175

My wonderful brother-in-law has a great appreciation for my handmade cards... so he has requested that I send him a small 'stash' so he has cards to give to my sister on her birthday, Mother's Day, Valentine's etc.  So today I whipped up a couple of cards to add to his supply.  I've used the current Deconstructed Sketch, and a few of the newer Verve stamp sets:

Patterned papers are October Afternoon; Stamp sets are Cupcakes & Coffee, Verve; Coffee die, Verve; Inks are Chocolate, Blush & Champagne, Close To My Heart;

Snowman Shaker card for November Challenge

We are launching a new challenge on the One Crazy Stamper store blog today - it's Anything Goes for the month of November - any stamps or products are fine, just no digi stamps!  I am sharing one of the new Art Impressions Shakers called Snowman Shaker (Sku #4514):
Each of the Ai Shakers come with the main image, a stamp of just the torso, a sentiment and an Action Wobble.  Here's a close up of the snowman so that you can see how the torso image is popped up on the Wobble so that it shakes when you flick it, or shake the card:

Penguin Christmas Card

I have an Art Impressions Christmas card to share today using some fun, non-traditional papers with the Warm Your Heart Set (Sku #4519):

I used my Cuttlebug to cut out the pink poinsettia, and hilighted it with my clear Wink of Stella pen for a little glimmer.  Here's a closeup of my penguin:
And here is the inside message:

Cupcake Shaker card

Everyone should have a sparkly child.  Mine just happens to be turning 17 today.  Ever since she was little, she would always be attracted to anything glittery, sparkly or glitzy.  I'm pretty much the complete opposite, so when I'm cardmaking, she's always trying to get me to sparkle things up a little.  She is also an amazing cupcake baker, which is why I purchased this stamp set immediately when Verve brought it out in September.  I knew a shaker card was the way to go, since I could fill it with tons of glittery sequins.  Here's what I came up with:

I used my pink Wink of Stella pen on the cherry, so it's sparkly, too.
Have a great day :o)

Patterned papers are Molly, Bella Blvd; Cardstock is Outdoor Denim, Bubblegum & White Daisy - CTMH;  Ink is Outdoor Denim, Bubblegum, Whisper & Baby Pink - CTMH;  Stamp set is Cupcakes, Verve;  Sequins, Verve.
