New Mini Front & Back stamps!
The Art Impressions design team is helping to launch the newest release of Mini Front & Back stamps today! AND there are matching dies that go with them! I'm sharing two of the eight new images (they come two in a set). Here is the Snowman & Penguin Mini Set (Sku #4508)
Sorry for the rays of sunshine in my photos! If you've never seen the Mini Fronts & Backs before, you get both a front upper body stamp, and a rear view full body stamp. You cut a 1 1/2" circle in your card front, glue the front and back together, and position him so he's peeking out the front of the card. Each image comes with a sentiment, as well.
And there is something new & exciting for Ai - there are steel dies that work with all of the new & previously released minis!
They are all available for purchase on the Art Impressions website, so check them out, and you'll want to head on over to the Ai blog to see what the rest of the design team has come up with to show you. And... we have a Front & Back challenge going on for one more week - if you don't own any of the Ai F&B images (doesn't have to be the minis!) you just need to have a stamped image on both the front and inside of your card. We'd love to have you play along, and have a chance to win some wonderful prizes!

High Hopes at One Crazy Stamper
Hello everyone! The OCS design team is featuring the hot-off-the-press new Halloween/Christmas release from High Hopes all month long. Oh, my goodness - you're going to love what we've got in store for you, so you'll want to visit the One Crazy Stamper blog regularly :o) I have the sweetest Santa image to share with you today:
I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and coloured him with Copic Markers. This is the first time that I've used the dot method of colouring! I'm quite happy with how it turned out, and loved using about 5 different markers to make the sky background. I did a negative die cut circle in kraft paper that I popped up to create a bit of a frame around him. I've added course glitter to the snowflakes and the snow on the image, so when combined with the irridescent twine, it's actually quite sparkly.

Witch Wanda
Yikes! Here we are in September already... where does the time go? But I must say that fall is my favourite season - the colours, the baking, the cooler days - I love it all. So with Halloween just weeks away, I've pulled out the Witch Wanda Set (Sku#4311) from Art Impressions:
Now I have to say, that before this time last year, I had never made a Halloween card before!? (We celebrate the occassion, I just don't send cards). But oh my goodness, I had the best time making them, and fell completely in love with Witch Wanda and the Air Hag stamp set. It was like getting an injection of mojo... and this year is no different. I've coloured up a bunch of Wanda's and have several ideas for a few 3D projects, so you'll likely see a bit more Halloween from me!
Here is a closeup of Wanda - she is coloured entirely in "Grey Scale" - I used W9, W7, W5, W3, W1 & W00 Copic markers which are their warm greys - I'd seen the idea on Pinterest, which gives her a bit of a vintage vibe. I really love this look, and plan to do a few more versions of this throughout the fall & holiday season, so stay tuned!

September One Crazy Stamper challenge
The One Crazy Stamper blog is back with our monthly challenges, and this month's challenge is Halloween/Christmas - all products are welcome, just not digi images. The Design Team will be showcasing the September High Hopes release all month long - so you'll want to visit the OCS blog to see what we're all up to! I've made a Halloween card using this sweet little masquerading kitty:
I've stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and coloured him up with Copic markers. Then I used my Coluzzle circle template to cut a circle around him, and coloured the edges to make it appear like he's flying in front of the moon.
I added a branch die cut from Memory Box, and stood it upright to look like a creepy tree, and I die cut clouds from one of the papers in the Frightful pack. I really love these little Gumdrops from Your Next Embellie - I think I have them in about 8 colours now! You can find all of these fabulous products in the One Crazy Stamper store here:
High Hopes Rubber Stamps, My Mind's Eye 6x6 Frightful, Your Next Embellie, Black, Memory Box Grove Branch die, Copic markers: W7, W5, W3, W1, W00, E18, E09, E07, E02, E53, E51, E50, YR18, YR16, YR15, YR12

Retro Sketches #130
When I first saw this sketch on the Retro Sketches blog, I thought it would be a little too difficult, since I don't really have much Washi tape... but then I thought of all the multi-striped patterned papers that I have. So when I pulled out this holiday paper, I already had the sentiment stamped and the two snowflakes embossed - and they just happen to work perfectly with the sketch!
Patterned paper is Winter Fun, Carta Bella; Cardstock is Kraft, Vineyard Berry & Colonial White, CTMH; Ink is Twilight, CTMH; Stamp sets are Glad Tidings and Merry & Bright, Verve; Verve Snowflake dies; Enamel Dots, Your Next Embellie.

Laughing Girlfriends cards
Hello everyone! I'm sneaking in a bonus post this month on the OCS blog... to share a couple of cards made with one of the sets from the popular Art Impressions Girlfriends line: Laughing Set:
I wanted to keep them fairly flat for mailing, and also wanted to use up some scraps! I had already coloured up the images to match this paper pack, and here's what I had sitting on my craft desk, leftover from previous projects:
Bits and pieces! I was determined not to cut into any new sheets, so here's what I came up with:
Lora has a FABULOUS assortment of Art Impressions stamps in the One Crazy Stamper store... you can see them all here. And wait until you see the newest release! You can preorder them here.
