One Crazy Stamper June Challenge

The One Crazy Stamper Design Team is sharing cards for our June Challenge today, which is "Anything Goes, with a splash, ribbon and glitter!"  This was a fun one for me - I am using Art Impressions "Stayin' Afloat (Sku#4254)", one of their fun Girlfriends images:
My "splash" is the water... my "ribbon" is a pretty piece of blue organdy that I had in my stash... and my "glitter" is both the little orange gems on the sentiment, and I also used a Wink of Stella clear pen on all the swimsuits, you just can't see it in the photo.  I picked up a few Memory Box stencils the last time that I was at the OCS store, and used "Modern Radio Waves" with some sponged yellow and orange inks to create my sunny sky background (this was fun! check out the stencil selection that Lora has in the store!)  Here is a close-up of the gals:
Wink of Stella Clear (It's on the swimsuits - really!!)

Stayin' Afloat

Today is my day to post on the Art Impressions blog... so I am enjoying the last gasp of summer with a Girlfriends card using the Stayin' Afloat Set (Sku#4329):
I went with some fairly 'quiet' striped paper as my background, so I kept the ladies' in fairly sedate colours as well.  I added a little strip of yellow ricrac along the bottom, and used a few die cuts to simulate the sky.  I pop dotted the die cuts at a few different heights for a little extra dimension:

Here is the inside message:

And the Copics I used:

Happy stamping everyone!

Retro Sketches #67

I have a bright, summery card for you today!  I pulled out the Art Impressions Stayin' Afloat set (sku#4239).  The main image has 4 gals floating in inner tubes, but I just coloured and cut out one of them to fit on this week's Retro Sketch:
Patterned papers are Hello Summer, Echo Park; Stamp set is Stayin Afloat #4239, Art Impressions; Ink is Tuxedo Black, Memento; Copic Markers; Spellbinders die.
