Art Impressions Southwestern Launch

The Art Impressions Design Team is helping to launch the first of the Summer 2015 collection that will now be available on the Ai website!  We have two cute new Southwestern images for you - I have used Armadillo Set (Sku # 4685):
I've used some of my all-time favourite October Afternoon papers, "Sasparilla" - which I love with any of the Ai sets that have a country feel to them.  I paper pieced all of the presents and added a few studs to finish it off.  Be sure to visit the Art Impressions blog to see what the rest of the team has to inspire you with today - and come back often, we'll be releasing all kinds of new product over the next few weeks.  Our current challenge is "Southern Style" - we want to see your creations with a little Southern flavour :o)

Copics used: E35, E33, E31, E50, R59, R27, R24, R22, R20, BG15, BG13, BG11, B95, B93, B91

Birdie & Scratch

I am posting on the Art Impressions blog today...
I have a fun Bird Brains card to share with you, using Birdie & Scratch (Sku#U1831).  This has always been my favourite Bird Brain image... the grin on Scratch's face cracks me up!  I always like to use papers with a bit of a country/barnyard feel to them when I play with the Bird Brains, so that's what I've pulled out:
And for the inside, I used Strut your Stuff (Sku#F1861):

There is still time to play along with our "Let's Get Krafty" challenge, we want to see you use Kraft paper on your project, like I have with my card today.  You can find the current challenge here!
Happy stamping everyone!

Inspired By #55

When I sat down to make a card based on this week's Inspired By photo... I thought it would be a little more 'artsy' and a little less 'howdy partner' than it turned out!  But I'm not sorry to have another guy birthday card in my stash (might be my only one?)  Here's what it ended up like:
Here is Laurel's photo:

Patterned papers are Sasparilla; Cardstock is Black, Colonial White & Twilight; Ink is Twilight; Stamp set is Happy Birthday - all CTMH; Verve & Taylored Expressions dies; Art Philosophy Cartridge, CTMH.
