Retirement card

I have a co-worker retiring today, and even though we haven't worked together all that long, she's been a hoot to be around!  So your average sedate retirement card wasn't going to cut it.  I pulled out Millie from Art Impressions, gave her a zingy little outfit, and made a fun card:
And of course, your average retirement sentiment wasn't going to cut it.  Here's the inside:
 Happy retirement, Alice!

Anything Goes Challenge

It is week two of the Art Impressions "Anything Goes" challenge - so hop on over to the Ai blog and link up your creation!  There are always wonderful prizes to be won.  Next week is a special birthday for my (MUCH older) sister :o)  So I pulled out exhuberant Millie, some Teresa Collins papers, and some glitter paper:
There's a little rhinestone on her sweater as well, so the overall effect is a little more glittery than it comes across in the photo.  Here's a Millie close up:

The CTMH glitter paper cut beautifully in the Cricut!

Patterned papers are Summer Stories, Teresa Collins; Cardstock is Slate and Colonial White, CTMH; Ink is Tuxedo Black, Memento; Copic Markers; Stamp is Millie, Art Impressions; Glitter paper & sparkle, CTMH; Cricut Artiste cartridge, CTMH.

Properly Caffeinated

It's my Tuesday post on the Art Impressions blog today!
I have a monochromatic card for you, featuring the exuberant Millie (Sku#M1932).  When I use Millie on a card, I love to pair her up with the fun sentiment: Caffeinated (Sku#G4144).  I have more than a few girlfriends for whom this card would be perfect!
I've used a chevron striped ribbon, paper flower and a few navy rhinestones, along with a punched border.  I double matted Millie, and have popped her up on pop dots.
Happy stamping everyone!
