Fleur Impressions

And more stamped images from my craft room!  These are the Fleur Impressions and Oopsie Daisy flower stamps from The Greetery, arranged in the cute Just Mason Around jar.

I again pulled out the Knit Wits stencil, and used it with some ink blending of Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide inks.  Sentiment is Perfect Sentiments from Pinkfresh Studio, gold embossed.

Budding Beauties Autumn

Current mission is using up some of those bits & pieces that I had previously stamped, that are sitting in my craft room.  I have more than a few :-)  All but the sentiment (Spellbinders) are from The Greetery.

I began with some ink blending with Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides.  I used the Knit Wits stencil to add a little texture overtop, using the same inks.  Just Mason Around is a fun multi-step stamp set that creates the mason jar, and all of the florals are from the Budding Beauties Autumn stamp set.

I added spatters of gold paint to my card, then stacked the You Are Everything Betterpress sentiment over a mat of glitter cardstock.  A few gold pearls finished it off.

Oopsie Daisy

Such a great name for a stamp set.  I made a couple of cards with new (to me!) stamps from The Greetery.  This is Oopsie Daisy, plus Just Mason Around and the Knit Wits stencil on the background:

 I used my Misti to stamp all of the jars and flowers, as they all have multiple stamps involved in creating each image.  It's a great way to stamp multiples, so I have enough extra supplies to do 5 or 6 more cards.

 I did some ink blending with Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick to create my background, and went over a portion of it using my Knit Wits stencil and the same colours.  I made two versions, with slightly different arrangements, and then added the sentiment from the Art Impressions Exclusive Daisy set.

Happy Birthday, Allie!

My niece Allie is my crafting partner-in-crime.  Sadly, we live on opposite sides of the country... but we still manage to share supplies, enjoy inspiration on the internet and on each other's blogs.  We have a mutual love of all things from "The Greetery", so it was only fitting that I reached for those supplies when I made her birthday card:

 When I visited with her last summer, she gifted me with the Just Mason Around stamp set & die, which started my Greetery collection.  While together, I stamped off a bunch of flowers using her Fleur Impressions set (the blue & pink flowers).  And finally, I placed my own order this fall where I got the Budding Beauties Autumn set (the wheat) along with the stencil you see in the background.

 I've used Distress Oxide inks for both the stamping and stencilling, and then pulled out my Pumice Stone ink and blending it lightly to create the background frame.

I adhered the jar & flowers with pop dots for some added dimesion, and there are highlites on all of the pieces from my Wink of Stella pen.  A few sequins, and we're done.  Happy Birthday, Allie!

Christmas cards in The Greetery style!

I love absolutely everything from The Greetery by Betsy Veldman.  I was given the Mason Jar stamp set as a gift from my niece, and recently purchased the Budding Beauties - Autumn set so that I would have something to put in the jars!

The stamp sets are well thought out, many are designed to go together, and the results are simply stunning.  For both the 3-step jar and 4-step botanicals, I set them up in my Misti - so once they were positioned, I was quickly able to stamp multiples.

I used Distress Oxide inks for the stamped images and my blended backgrounds, and then I ran an embossing stylus around the edges to create a raised frame.  The jar and one of the sprigs are raised up on pop dots, which adds to the 3D effect.

My first combo was using softer, icier colours - and I pulled out some stronger colours for my second combo:

 Before assembling, I took the two brown stem stamps, and barely inked them up in a much lighter brown, and stamped them on top of the mason jar to give the appearance of the stems being in the glass.

 You can vaguely see in the photo below that I added some iridescent Stickles to the flower and sporadically on the leaves and jar.  Makes them have a nice little sparkle in real life!

After these first few were made and photographed, I put together 8 more, and got brave enough to splatter the ink blended background with some water, and then with some deep blue ink:
