Radiant Blooms

My first project with the February Betterpress Society plate, Radiant Blooms was hot foiled onto some pale peach cardstock.

As a bonus this month, we received a roll of rose gold foil, so that's what I used on my panel.  I pulled out the scalloped frame dies from Pinkfresh Studio, cut it out of some metallic rose gold cardstock, and layered it on a second frame for some dimension before adhering it to my base.

I used the flowers from my Fresh Picked Buttercups die set, and cut the flowers out of peach cardstock that was a shade darker.   I added a sentiment from the You Are Everything press plate set, that was pressed with Lisa Horton's Copper Pot metallic ink.

Budding Beauties Autumn

Current mission is using up some of those bits & pieces that I had previously stamped, that are sitting in my craft room.  I have more than a few :-)  All but the sentiment (Spellbinders) are from The Greetery.

I began with some ink blending with Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides.  I used the Knit Wits stencil to add a little texture overtop, using the same inks.  Just Mason Around is a fun multi-step stamp set that creates the mason jar, and all of the florals are from the Budding Beauties Autumn stamp set.

I added spatters of gold paint to my card, then stacked the You Are Everything Betterpress sentiment over a mat of glitter cardstock.  A few gold pearls finished it off.

Chrysanthemum Slimline

The Chrysanthemum Slimline stamp set from Pinkfresh Studio is one that I haven't used in a while - but I adore how simple cards look just amazing with it.  It's intended as a slimline set, but works really well cut down as an A2.

I stamped the outline in Versafine Onyx Black, and used several Pinkfresh Studio inks with the coordinating stencils to colour it in.  After trimming the panel down, I matted it with a 1/16" black mat, and attached it to the white card base.

The sentiment is from the You Are Everything Sentiments set from Spellbinders, popped up with 3D foam adhesive.

Pastel Uniquely You

My third project with the January Betterpress Society set, Uniquely You, is a softer pastel version.

I pressed the upper leaf part in Antique Linen Distress Ink, then used the stencils and a combo of four different inks from Pinkfresh Studio to blend the leaves - doing many in two tones.  The urn was pressed in Lisa Horton Crafts Copper Pot metallic ink.  

The set comes with two flower dies, their centers and matching leaves, so I cut a few of them out in peachy toned cardstock and adhered them to the bouquet, and as an accent near the sentiment.  The sentiment from You Are Everything Betterpress set, was pressed with watermark ink and gold embossed.  

I stitched my panel onto a piece of brown cardstock with my sewing machine, then attached the whole thing to my green base with 3D foam adhesive.
