A little more Christmas

Yes, I'm still making Christmas cards whenever I can.  This was part of my pandemic colouring blitz when we were first in lockdown last spring - a High Hopes image I'd had stamped years ago - so I spent my evenings colouring with my Copics.

Then last fall I had a fun afternoon of ink blending a bunch of different combos, and this was one of them (Peacock Feathers & Blueprint Sketch)... afterwards I saw the image and background together, and knew they'd be a perfect pair.  I matted the image with some red mirrored cardstock, added a sentiment from Verve and a few red sparkles.

Sweet Christmas card

I have another sweet High Hopes image on a simple Christmas card today:
I coloured him with my Copics, die cut the image with a stitched square die, and adhered him to the base with a black mat.  The die cut "merry" is from Echo Park.

Elf Cards

I have been enjoying pulling out my Copic markers over the last few weeks, have been colouring up images that I've had stamped for several years, and am making an effort to use up papers that I've had for just as long.
These are two images from High Hopes Rubber Stamps, and a sentiment from Verve.
Paper is Elf Magic by Bo Bunny
 Two more for my stash!

30 Day Colouring Challenge

Although I'm not officially participating in Kathy Racoosin's 30 Day Colouring Challenge... I am playing along.  It may not look like I'm crafting due to my sparse blog posts, but I've been prepping all kinds of images, and really enjoying colouring with my Copics.  If you're like me, you stamp multiples, and don't always get them finished.  So that's my mission this holiday, to use up as many older, already-stamped images kicking around in my files.  Here's a stack of images from Art Impressions and High Hopes:
I'll have a flurry of posts once I start making them up into cards!

Card Kits #25 & #26

We are just days away from Scrapfest in Kitchener, Ontario (April 13 & 14), so I wanted to share the final two card kits that will be available in the One Crazy Stamper booth.  Kit #25 is one of my all-time favourite Card Kits featuring Winter Moose RR019 and merry Christmoose G142 from High Hopes Rubber Stamps!
This card has such a classic Canadian Christmas feel to it!  I've coloured his hat & scarf to mimic a buffalo plaid (just like our Olympic team!) and tucked in a few sprigs of greenery.  The sentiment is raised up on pop dots. The Card Kits contain all the pieces to put together four cards, including all of the cut paper, card bases & envelopes.  What you need to provide is black ink, the colouring method of your choice, and adhesives.  There is a full colour instruction sheet that includes a photo, step-by-step instructions including a list of the Copic colours that are used in the sample, and all of the cutting measurements so that you can make more cards using your own supplies later.  The kit contains both the image and sentiment as unmounted red rubber stamps - so you'll want to pick up some EZ Mount adhesive cushion from the OCS store as well.

Now this is something that I'm very excited about!!  Welcome to our first ever OCS Quick Kit! - Card Kit #26.  Like the other kits, you get all the cut pieces, die cuts, card bases & envelopes to put together four cards - along with the Cookies & Cocoa Script H096 sentiment stamp from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  *The main difference being that there is no image to colour.  Just stamp the sentiment on the four white ovals in the kit, and you can have all four cards assembled within half an hour.  Who doesn't need a few quick Christmas cards?  And of course, you'll get all of the instructions and measurements to make a bunch more with your own supplies.
*If you can't make it to Scrapfest, any remaining kits will be available in the store after the show. Happy Stamping!

Card Kit #24

Today I am sharing the 3rd of five new festive themed card kits that will be available next weekend at Scrapfest in Kitchener (April 13th & 14th) at the One Crazy Stamper booth.  We all want to make hedgehog cards for Christmas (of course!) so today's kit is just the thing - here is Happy Mail SS002 and Dot Warm Winter Wishes H257 both from High Hopes Rubber Stamps:
I love the rustic feel of this!

Winter Owl Card Kit

I have Card Kit #23 to share with you today - there will be five brand new holiday-themed card kits available at the One Crazy Stamper booth at Scrapfest in Kitchener, April 13th & 14th.  If there are any kits still available after the show, you'll see them in the OCS store after those dates.  Today's kit features Winter Owl RR020 and Warm Winter Wishes Bold H098 from High Hopes Rubber Stamps:
I just adore all the little High Hopes owls!  You can colour him however you like, but I was trying to imitate a buffalo plaid on his hat & scarf...

New OCS Card Kits

Happy Easter!!  I am up on the One Crazy Stamper blog today with a guest post to share one of the new Card Kits that will be available at Scrapfest in Kitchener, Ontario - April 13th & 14th... and possibly on the OCS website if there are any left after the show.  Everybody always wants to get a head start on their Christmas cards, so this year we've got 5 festive kits that will get you adding to your stash early in the year.  Here is Card Kit #22 featuring Santa's List R154 and Naughty List JJ004 from High Hopes Rubber Stamps:
This sentiment is an all-time favourite of mine!  Can't you think of a dozen friends that this would be perfect for?  The Card Kits contain all the pieces to put together four cards, including all of the cut paper, die cut snowflakes, card bases & envelopes.
*In this particular kit, you will get supplies to make two cards as shown, and two cards will have the background papers switched, with the stripe being the larger piece on top.  Quantities are limited, so be sure to hit the One Crazy Stamper booth at Scrapfest (I've had a sneak peek to see what Lora is bringing to the show - you'll want to stop by for sure!!).  Come back and visit the blog, as I'll be sharing the rest of the Card Kits over the next few weeks.  Happy stamping!
