A2 Floral Notes

When I created the slimline card that I posted yesterday with Floral Notes by Pinkfresh Studio, I had created a second stenciled image, and decided to make it up into an A2 card.

This one was fussy cut, and chopped in half to create a whole new look.  I chose a lighter shade of pink for my base, and cut the Stitched Scalloped Rectangles die from Pinkfresh Studio from some matte silver cardstock.  I used the same for the Serenade Sentiments from Spellbinders.

All of my die cut pieces were layered several times to give them some extra stability as well as depth.  I adhered my florals down with some thin 3D foam adhesive.

Slimline Floral Notes

So happy to be pulling out some older product from my craft room!  This one is a favourite of mine, it's the Floral Notes stamp and stencils from Pinkfresh Studio.

I stamped the slimline image in grey Archival ink, which gave an overall softer feel that I love.  I used the coordinating stencils with five Distress Inks (Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Pink Raspberry, Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn) to add in the blended colours.

I spattered the image with silver metallic paint, and added the silver die cut Serenade Sentiments by Spellbinders, and a few gems. 

Pinkfresh Studio August Challenge

 So happy to be playing along with the Pinkfresh Studio challenge for August!  Stripes was the theme, so I pulled out my Horizontal Stripe stencil, and did an ombre blend of 3 Distress Oxide Inks.  I stamped the Floral Notes set onto my white cardstock and used the coordinating stencil to colour up some purpley-blue blooms.  I fussy cut it out and adhered it to my base with 3D foam adhesive.

I love the Diagonal Stitched Slimline dies, they make such a nice detail on my cardstock.

I added a sentiment from Scripted Bold Sentiments to the inside:

I creating a stash of cards to keep at work when we need them for staff, so this will be perfect!

Pinkfresh Slimline

 Diving back into my Pinkfresh Studio products today.  I've used the matching stencils to colour this stamp set, but this is the first time that I've stamped it and coloured with Copic markers.  It was so quick, and came together really easily.

It is also my first time using the Horizontal Stripes Slimline stencil, and I am loving the ombre effect!  I used five different Distress Oxide inks, then used a slimline die to cut it to the right size.  I fussy cut out my floral image and adhered it with 3D foam adhesive.  A few green sparkles from my stash finished it off.

Floral Notes in Blue

 A few weeks back, I shared my pink version of this stencil - and today I have my blue version made up into a card.  Oh, how I love this stencil!!  It inks up so quickly, and Pinkfresh Studio makes them so easy to line up and achieve great results.

Distress Oxide colours are Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Crushed Olive and Mowed Lawn.  All the dies and jewels are also from Pinkfresh Studio.

Floral Notes

 I am really loving my new Pinkfresh Studio stencils!  This is Floral Notes, along with Beautiful Word Die and the Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangle dies - also from Pinkfresh Studio:

I used a mixture of Distress Oxide inks with the three-step stencil. Spun Sugar & Kitsch Flamingo for the large blooms, Picked Raspberry for the centers & small blooms, and Crushed Olive & Mowed Lawn for the foliage.

I used the 3 different layering slimline dies with my coordinating cardstock and adhered them to my base.  The Beautiful word die was cut out 3 times, and layered to create a more substantial word, and some glittery gold Stickles were added to the flower centers.  I love the end result!
