This week's inspiration photo on the Inspired By challenge blog reminded me immediately of my October Afternoon Farmhouse papers... so I took the inspiration fairly literally:

Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #32

I've been hoarding my October Afternoon papers for a while now... so it was time to break them out for this week's Sketchbook Saturday sketch.  This is A LOT of patterned paper for me!  But I had fun putting it together (and the yellows all match in real life LOL :o)

This week's PDCC challenge was to use black, white & a touch of green - so I pulled out what is probably my all-time fave stamp set, Treasures:

My first Heart 2 Heart challenge!

I've been following the Heart2Heart blog since it began a few months ago, and am very excited to finally participate in their weekly challenge!  The challenges vary from week to week, but this Monday it was a colour challenge: you must use CTMH's Buttercup, Tulip & Black.  Definitely a challenge for me, but it made me think of our wonderful Treasures stamp set.  I originally planned to do a sunset style sponged background, but ended up liking the simple black on white stamping.  Here goes:
