More St. Nick

I posted this card design a few weeks ago, and was able to revisit it to create seven more!

After ink blending with the Jolly St. Nick stencils from Concord & 9th, I stamped the Waffle Flower postage images and added a few bits of stamped greenery.  I used the Postage Rectangle dies from Spellbinders to make him into a giant stamp.

I was able to use up most of these older Lawn Fawn holiday plaid papers, and adhered the stamp down with 3D foam adhesive.

Delivering Wishes

My first project with the June Betterpress Society plate, Delivering Wishes, was to try ink smooshing!

I pressed the plate on regular white cardstock with Betterpress black ink, then picked my colour combos of four coordinating inks.

I put some ink on my work surface, spritzed with water, then picked it up with a piece of acetate, and smooshed it onto my image, intentionally adding the ink on top of the shapes.

I cut the image out with the stitched rectangle from the Postage Rectangle and Tag dies from Spellbinders, and cut a larger shaped piece out of coordinating cardstock to mount it on.

The sentiments from the set were pressed on the same colours of cardstock.

After cutting them out with the coordinating dies, I cut two more out of black cardstock and stacked them all together so the sentiments would have more height.  I added a few iridescent sequins.

You can get a Betterpress Society subscription from The Papercrafter's Workshop.

Floral Spray 3.0

Last one for now, I promise!  Again, I decided to make one more card using all of the diecut pieces that I had on my craft desk.  Here is the third card I've made using Floral Spray and Rectangular Postage dies from Spellbinders:

I've added a Pinkfresh Studio Beautiful sentiment die, cut from metallic gold cardstock, and mounted the postage die cut onto the coordinating periwinkle blue cardstock.

Floral Spray 2.0

A coordinating card to the one I posted yesterday - scroll to the end to see them both together.  I love this colour combo so much, and had a bunch of leftover diecuts, so I kept going:

I'm again using the Floral Spray and Rectangular Postage Die sets from Spellbinders, along with one of their Betterpress sentiments.  Pretty sure this Postage die is my newest favourite basic die!

Floral Spray

This pretty die set was a "To Karen, Love Karen" present last weekend, after purging/selling off a ton of stuff from my craft room.  I know, it means that I rushed out and bought more product...  But I'm so happy with it!  This is the Floral Spray die set from Spellbinders:

I used a layout from one of the Spellbinders designers, as I loved the look, and used the folk-art colour combination that I found on a card at Indigo - so I pulled out cardstock from my stash that was similar.

This was a lot of die cutting!  But I don't mind - the end result is totally worth it, and when I do this much cutting, I do multiples, so I have plenty of pieces to put several more cards together.

The postage die is also from Spellbinders, and the sentiment is an older Memory Box die that I cut in metallic gold cardstock - I haven't glued it down, as I will likely try to find something different, like "hello".

And here is the "crafter-math" left on my worktable after doing a project like this!!

Both of the Spellbinders dies can be found at the Papercrafter's Workshop:
