Wheelie Mini Shaker card

June is masculine card month... so I have a fun square Mini Shaker card to share.  Here is Wheelie Mini Shaker (Sku #4794) from Art Impressions:

I stamped the main image on my white cardstock rectangle, and coloured him with Copic markers.  I stamped the 'shaker' body, and after colouring, used the die included in the set to cut it out, and mounted it over the main image using a Mini Action Wobble.  I double mounted the sentiment on some coloured cardstock circles, and adhered it with pop dots to my base.  Also included in the set, are three small star dies, and the word 'zoom' (which I didn't use today).  Here's another shot showing the Action Wobble:
You could definitely use him for a Father's Day card, just by changing up the sentiment.  You can see all of the Ai Mini Shakers here.  Happy stamping!

Till You Wobble!

The Art Impressions Design Team is helping to launch the new Ai Mini Shaker sets that come with a Mini Action Wobble!  If you're familiar with Action Wobbles, you're going to love the adorable mini ones - and wait till you see all the great Mini Shakers that are designed especially for them!  Here is Santa Mini Shaker (Sku #4798):
I love that he is a simple, easy-to-colour image!  The set includes the moustache die, which I adhered to the Mini Action Wobble, and the Ho! sentiment which I stamped three times - or, there is a Ho! die that you can cut out, too.  Head on over to the Ai blog to see what the rest of the DT has to share today, and while you're there, you can link up your creation to our "Till You Wobble" challenge - there are always great prizes to be won.

Happy Birthday, Lora!!

Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday dear Lora
Happy Birthday to You……………………..
Lora, the High Hopes Rubber Stamps and One Crazy Stamper DT Divas along with some very Special guests are doing a Birthday Wishes Blog Hop to celebrate your birthday.
I made a fun 3D card for Lora using Art Impressions' Birthday Fairy Set, I gave her a sparkly wand, added some Wink of Stella to her earrings, and her skirt is on an Action Wobble to make her do a little Birthday Boogie for Lora :o)
I met Lora about four years ago when a friend took me shopping to the One Crazy Stamper store - and I've been a regular there ever since!  I'm lucky that I'm just a short drive away.  She's such a genuine person - a few years ago when she heard that my 14 year old daughter had a cupcake business, she immediately ordered a crazy amount of cupcakes (6 dozen?) for a crop event that she was hosting - simply because she wanted to support a young entrepreneur.  She has been very encouraging to me personally, asking me to be on her design team, to teach classes at the store, and to demo at trade shows.  The thing that I most admire about her is that she is a savvy business owner, who keeps growing and changing her business, and who still has a deep love for the art of stamping.  Happy Birthday, Lora!

Hop along, be inspired and don’t forget to leave a birthday wish for Lora on the One Crazy Stamper and/or High Hopes Rubber Stamps blogs. Here is our hop list for today - your next stop is Dina Gerner's blog!

Glitter & Shimmer Challenge

The Art Impressions Design Team are all sharing projects today for the current challenge on the Ai blog: "Glitter & Shimmer Challenge"!  I am bling-challenged at the best of times!  But I can definitely add a little sparkle now and then.  Today I am sharing three cards made with one of the Shake Your Booty sets called Dancer Set (Sku #4308):
These were fun to put together.  I coloured them all up with different skin tones/hair colour, then paper pieced their outfits.  The circles & sentiments are popped up on pop dots, and a few adhesive sparkles were added.  Here are some close ups:
The "Glamorous" sentiment is from the Pamper Yourself clear stamp set that is available at Hobby Lobby stores.

One thing that I almost NEVER do, is to have a plain white card base?!  And this is the second one that I've done in the last few weeks.  These plaid papers just look so fresh & clean paired up with white.  And of course, I need to show you the inside - where her tush has been paper pieced, cut out and put onto an Action Wobble so that her booty shakes.
*Have you seen the new Mini Wobbles??  You can find them here in the Art Impressions store!
 Copics used: Skin tones - E11, E00, E000, E37, E34, E31, E53, E51, E50, R20, R30
Hair - Y26, Y23, E50, E18, E08, E02, C7, C5, C3, B21

Birthday Fairy Shaker

This is my second post for today - scroll down to see my One Crazy Stamper challenge card!
I have a shaker card to share today... this is Birthday Fairy Set (Sku #4730) from the latest release on the Art Impressions website!
This set comes with the fairy image, and a separate stamp of just her skirt, which I've cut out using the matching die (also included in the set!) and popped up with an Action Wobble.  Also in the set are the sentiment stamp, and a wand & it's die - which I decided not to use on my card.  I actually intended to cut off the edge of the large circle where it spills over the edge of the card, but I kind of liked the look of it just the way it is.  Here you can see her skirt that wobbles:
 Copics used: E11, E00, E000, R20, YG05, YG03, YG01, YG00, BV04, BV02, BV01, BV00, R85, R83, R81, C5, C3, C1, C00, Y26, Y23, Y21.

New Shakers!

The Art Impressions Design Team is helping to launch five brand new Shakers that are now available on the Ai website (you can see them all here!).  Ai Shakers are getting quite a reputation, so you'll want to check them all out.  I'm sharing the very fun Tan It Set (Sku #4683):
Each of the five new sets include one Action Wobble to get you started (you can find more on the website), AND - they now include a steel die to cut out her little tush!  For my card, I used a stencil & some Distress Inks to sponge a sunrise, and created some water & sand with cardstock.  I handcut my speech bubble and popped it up for a little dimension.  Here's what she looks like from the side:
Head on over to the Ai blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has created, and while you're there, you can link up your creation to our current challenge "Shake It" - we want to see your cards that shake or wobble.

Sports Fan Shaker

I have a fun masculine card to share with you today - using one of the Art Impressions Shaker stamp sets: Sports Fan Shaker:
The set comes with this cute little sports fan, as well as a separate stamp of just his foam finger.  After stamping and colouring both images with Copics, I fussy cut around the foam finger, and mounted it over the main image using an Action Wobble.  If you've never used an Action Wobble - you need to give it a try (you can find them in the One Crazy Stamper store here!) - it's a little plastic spring, sandwiched between two adhesives, so when you either shake the card, or flick it with your finger, his little hand wobbles back and forth.  The stamp set comes with one Wobble to start you off.  Here's a closeup from the side so that you can see it peeking out:

The other thing I love about this set - is that you can customize it by using whatever team colours you like for your favourite sports fan - perfect for everyone!  There is still time for you to join in our April Challenge on the OCS blog - and we'll have a brand new challenge & lots of Design Team inspiration for you on May 1st.  Here are the items you can find in the OCS store:
