I chose to do the square version of this week's Mojo Monday sketch... and paired it up with the Ribbon Carousel Challenge #18 which is to use 2 or more 'spool' items on your project. Of all of the cards I've made in the past few months that are my favourites, the 3 or 4 that I've made using the You & Me kit are all right up there, and this one is no exception - these colours and patterns just really do it for me :o)
Sentiment is Bloom & Grow by Verve; Striped ribbon & patterned papers are You & Me; Flowers and Butterfly are Paper Blooms; Opaque mocha pearls; Chocolate cardstock & ink - all CTMH.

When I saw this week's Sketchbook Saturday sketch, instead of flowers, I saw snowflakes? And when I saw how soft and pretty this week's Play Date Cafe colours were... I decided to combine the two challenges:
My card is 5 1/2" square:
Patterned papers are DCVW; Pearls are Michaels; Stamp set is Nature's Gift; Ink is Grey Wool; Cardstock is Colonial White; Ribbon is Ivory Organdy - all CTMH.

I grabbed the new Dreamin' papers for this week's Mojo Monday sketch again... I just really like how these colours go together :o)
Patterned papers are Dreamin'; Cardstock is Chocolate, Pacifica & Colonial White; Stamp sets are Simple Memories & Believe in Yourself; Inks are Chocolate & Creme Brulee; Chocolate button & ricrac - all CTMH; Baker's Twine from The Twinery.

I rarely post layouts (especially since I haven't scrapbooked in a while!), but I was really happy with how this one worked out. The photos were perfect for CTMH's Jingle papers from a few years ago, and I decided to stamp matching snowflakes behind my row of photos. I used up the extra "words" that I had stamped to make into a few early Christmas tags:
Patterned papers are Jingle, Creative Basics; Stamp set is Holiday Jingle; Cardstock is Tulip & White Daisy; Inks are Tulip, Blush & Juniper - all CTMH.

Not the extra-terrestrial variety... but the "Un-Finished Object" kind. While doing a bit of a tidy in my craft room earlier this summer, I continually came across bits and pcs of unfinished cards. Either something that was started and not finished, or duplicate cards that never got put together. So I vowed to make a bit of a dent in my little pile, and assembled a few of them:

I've been a little slow at both creating & posting lately, so there's nothing like a little Mojo Monday sketch to get things going again. Here's this week's sketch by Julee:
I pulled out CTMH's new Dreamin' papers for this one... all the new fall paper packs are so gorgeous, and I really love the new little zip strips for card making (the row of coloured dots is a zip strip!):
Paper pack is Dreamin'; Cardstock is Chocolate, Pacifica & Colonial White; Stamp sets are Treasure Life & Star Power; Inks are Chocolate & Sunset; Bitty Sparkles - all CTMH.

I really wanted to try out my new little Cuttlebug flower dies that I found for a riduculously cheap price recently! So Chupa's sketch this week was calling my name :o)
I've made the picture huge because I like seeing all the details!
Patterned papers are Curio by Basic Grey; Stamp set is Blessings by Verve; Cardstock is Colonial White & Chocolate, Blush B&T by CTMH; Inks are Desert Sand and Chocolate, CTMH; Bamboo Bigger Brads, CTMH; Ribbon & Lace from my stash. Dies by Cuttlebug.

What a nice surprise to check my email this morning, and find a note from Mary saying that I'd made the Top Ten for July on H2H with this card from the inspiration week on July 6th! Many thanks to the DT! I've posted my Top Ten badge on the left :o)

My long awaited Verve stamps & dies arrived yesterday, so they were the first things I grabbed for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge! Here is the colour palette:

A very interesting sketch for this week's Mojo Monday challenge... with all of the different shapes going on, I tried to keep patterned paper to a minimum, and it's still a fairly 'busy' card! I decided to turn the sketch on it's end:
Stamp sets are Beautiful You by Verve and Butterfly Kisses by CTMH; Patterned papers are Urban Prairie by Basic Grey; Cardstock is Juniper & White Daisy, CTMH; Ink is Buttercup, Juniper & Ponderosa Pine, CTMH; Juniper ribbon, CTMH; Stickles.
