I masked off the outside 3/8" around the card, and then stamped the Wings wotg background stamp in Versamark and then heat embossed it with some sparkly white embossing powder that I've had kicking around forever (it's actually called "Bridal!") - this pic doesn't show the irridescent sparkle of the embossing, so I'll make sure to add another one that does. I used 2 different pinks for the flowers...and now that I think of it, this card reminds me a lot of my own wedding dress. I wore a very pale pink gown, and made dozens of silk flowers in different shades of pink to sew onto it, along with pale green leaves!
Stamp sets are Wings, You're Invited & Our Wedding Day; Inks are Versamark, Grey Wool & Sweet Leaf; Cardstock is White Daisy, Baby Pink, Blush & Sweet Leaf; Opaque Pearls; - all CTMH. Nestabilities die. Bridal Embossing powder from Personal Stamp Exchange.
I love that the flowers are different shades of pink- very pretty card!

This card is wonderful.
Love, love, love this! I love the background stamping ( any of the damask are so perfect for this!) and the flowers are divine. The sheen on the background is like old wallpaper! And I just discovered that i am not a follower, I have remedied that! :0) I have always admired your work!
Karen, this is beautiful!!! Everything about it is sooo elegant :)
Karen - What a soft and beautiful card!
Your embossing and the roses are divine and very bridal! Absolutely perfect for this challenge!
Your card is beautiful! I can't decide whether I like the embossed background or the paper flowers better, so I'm going to say it's a tie.
Karen this card is flat out gorgeous! Beautiful flowers, and that embossed background is stunning!
