Happy Birthday Queen B!!

Our sneaky Art Impressions Design Team Coordinator has launched a challenge for all of the Ai fans to make a card for Bonnie's birthday, which just happens to be on July 10th.  Bonnie is affectionately called our "Queen B", and I've had this Bee die for a little while, so knew that I'd be using it on her card:

The leafy stencil die and bee are from The Greetery, and the font dies are Art Impressions.

If you'd like to join us in making her a card, you can find the challenge post on the Ai blog.

Happy Birthday, Bonnie!

Hello

Two more of my sunny Pinkfresh Studio stencilled cards that I made at the Papercrafter's Workshop this past weekend.  Stencils are so quick and easy to use.  There is a matching stamp set that I don't own, but I mimicked the stamp by drawing in the outlines directly on one of my images using a Tombow marker.  I'm so/so on the result, but it gives another look to the stencil set.

These gingham papers from Lawn Fawn have been in my stash for a few years, and they are the perfect background.  The finished cards are 5" square.

Pinkfresh Stencil cards

I took a wonderful class at The Papercrafter's Workshop in Stouffville yesterday (virtually!), using the very pretty Reason to Smile Wreath from Pinkfresh Studio.  The card designs were lovely - I'll spread them out over a few posts.  Here are my first two:

It's a 3-step stencil, that includes a 4th stencil with a bunch of different words that you can stencil in the middle of the wreath.  I used mainly Pinkfresh inks, and bought the coordinating die which makes a huge difference.  Both images are popped up with 3D foam adhesive for a little dimension.

Charming Floral Border

I was lucky enough to get a gift card to the Papercrafter's Workshop for my birthday... so I stocked up on some new Pinkfresh Studio products.  This is the Charming Floral Border stamp and stencils, along with 4 of their mini ink cube sets.  So quick and easy to colour up!  I am playing along with the January Challenge on the Pinkfresh Studio blog - my cards are for the March & August challenges which were flowers & stripes!

For this one, I fussy cut along one edge so that the front panel is shaped.

Quick & Easy Slimline

I find ink blended backgrounds so therapeutic to create!  And there are so many great stencils out there right now.  This is from the You Are Amazing 3-step stencil set from Pinkfresh Studio, along with their Hello die:

Distress Oxide inks are Rustic Wilderness, Mowed Lawn & Twisted Citron.
